- JW replies to PeanutIf you don't answer a voice call, you don't get charged for it. (Unless they leave a voicemail and you listen to it, then you get charged for the airtime spent listening to the voicemail.) You don't get an option to choose, with texts.
- runner replies to noraCheck out backpage.com. this is what a friend of mine found out when she caught her husband cheating with a hooker. That was sent to protect her identity.

6245 NEED TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE - Jonathan replies to pbsltwHey i love you your hot
- idk replies to Julietmy phone is with a different carrier then verizon. i personally think my phone has been bugged. the things that have happened to my phone are my text msgs being downloaded, text msgs locked in my phone yet not showing up with my service as being sent, my phone bill records show me calling my voicemail 216 to 275 times though there is no way. also ive had incoming calls in my mobile to mobile phone logs. that number says that ive sent text messages to it but never called it. one time it showed a text to it then an incoming call for one minute then that number again. this all shows up on my non billed call detail information. never on my phone bill. i have a two year old LG not a smartphone. ANY IDEAS
- IDK replies to slaw| 1 replyTHAT NUMBER COMES UP ON MY non billed call detail information even though im with a different carrier then verizon. its always been me supposedly, which i never have, sending a text not an actual call. i have a two year old LG not a smartphone ive never sent a text to any e mail addresses. i think its a bug or a virus
- JonaldI use Telus pay and talk. I use a cellphone. I received a text message from 6245 that said the following- [Subj: Attn;:You won 750,000.00 Pounds in the UK BlackBerry Promo. Please contact with alternative email: Code: BB82-131 to uk.blackberry@live.co.uk] on Sunday at 4:57 A.M April 22. A commenter above said that that number is used when you received a text from an email address i think. It makes sense then that this is a scam trying to get you to use other emails you have to get them onto a spam list. Definitely not real otherwise there would be nothing compromising required from me. I just hope they did not charge me for a text I did not want. I have not given my number out to anyone public ever and I am on a restricted list which is specifically off the mass calling company's' lists. (You can do that when they are activating your cell phone at the store. Can only do it with cell phone she said)
- RaniI have been getting spam texts from this #- apparently generated by messages sent from Gmail accounts- in spite of the facts that my cell is on the national Do Not Call list and I do not give the number out. The messages contain web links. Since I delete them and block the callerr, I believe they are coming from different accounts.

- HelperThis is a number that will come up when you use any web service or when someone else uses a web texting service. Say for instance freetexting.ca it is used to hide the senders number..it is easy you enter the person who u want to text cell phone, u need their provider and a place to type your message when sent it comes up at the receivers end as that number (6245) on the bill will be 0000006245...if they click on to reply it will send you to the site..u can reply their if you know the senders info so in order to reply u would have to know who u are chatting with. if u click on the reply u will see it look like you are replying to that 6245 number but it is just you going to the web site. I have tested this and that is what comes up when tested...so if you see this on your bill you should check it out..someone is sending or rec secret texts..that is all I know so far. It could also be any other web based texting site.

"To send the message to an email address, enter 6245 (this spells mail) in the To field, enter the recipient's email address in the Subject field." - Okies replies to 0000006245Had the same concern about my husband. I got this from the Verizon website:
"To send the message to an email address, enter 6245 (this spells mail) in the To field, enter the recipient's email address in the Subject field."
Turns out it was a new friend of ours who sends texts from an email account.
