i received a missed call from this number on my mobile, then when i tried phoning back, they hang up on me? isn't there a way of tracking this number down? it is to annoying.

I've also just recieved a missed call from 011 688 0400 but did not to leave a message,
and when i tried phoning them back, it just rings and got disconnected,
Please somebody just explain to me who are this people and what do they want?

I received call on 26 Oct 2010 from this number Novovice, today at 08:31 received another call but still nothing, may somebody cut the crap!!!

I got a call from this number today and they just hung up when I answered. When I called the number back they continually hang up the phone

I received a call today 9 November and had the same problem. I think 688 code is in Ridgeway Johannesburg somewhere. Maybe this is a scam from the cell phone companies to increase the phone calls when times are slow. Or maybe it is Standard Bank managers looking for work, but are too embarrassed to speak?

This is a debt collection company.  They call me every week as someone made debt and never paid them and put up my number as reference!!!!
I have told them many times that I do not know this person who they are talking about, but they make out that I am a liar.  Each time I ask them who they are and on behalf of who are they phoning, they get rude and drop the phone in my ear.  I think it is a debt collection company of Total Sports, as one operator by accidently told me...

Strange, I missed the call,no message left then called back the call cut off.

I got the same call on the 23rd of November and when I tried calling back, the call is the dropped.

I really do not know where is it from

I also got a phone call  from that number saying its vodacom

I got the same message.. irritated

Just got a call now. The person on the other end had my initials wrong but my surname correct. Then put the phone down. Cant call back. Cant the police follow this up...

I got a call this morning from 0116880400 tried calling back from a land line and the call was dropped after it rang like 3/4 times
