I rcvd call 3 times, no one answers, did callback, also no answer, must be a scammer /idiot/ useless piece of.... I have emergency and then this piece of... wates my time like this.

I phoned CellC 140, since then got these prank calls, is there a connection? - CellC never even answered the 140 call.

Received 3 missed calls from this number today
Tried to phone back, and everytime 3 rings and then cuts off
Am going to contact Telkom and try and get to the bottom of it

Hi, Ek sien nou baie mense kla oor die nommer wat mense bel, ekt sopas nou 'n oproep gemis (missed call) van 011 688 0400. Ek weer probeer bel, maar daar word nie opgetel nie. Toe ek weer bel toe druk hulle dood, so waar kry hul anyway my nommer.

I received a call from this number yesterday 31 May, answered my cellphone but the person on the other end hang up, and the same number just called now 01 June 011, when I answer they put the phone down, THIS IS VERY ANNOYING

Demn,this number is really freaking me up,pls any SAPS fraud unit can aid...! Firstly i thought my fiacee is cheating on me as it's started on her first & she was not answering...! **freaked**

Got a phone call from this number on 18th November, answered it, could actually hear someone on the other side and then had the phone put down in my ear without the person saying a word. Upon phoning back, phone rings and then just cuts out. Surely this is unacceptable. QUESTION: Why would they not answer their telephone!!!!! It is an unfair labour practise to claim the right to phone people and not avail them that very same privilege. I would like to take this matter further. Any suggestions where one could report this - the Consumer Board / Unfair
business practices etc?

It is Edgars Fin Service division, they are either calling you to sell you something, like insurance or new cell contract, or if your account is in arrears, to get their money.
