Whoever this is, they have called me at least three times a day for a week!  I'm afraid to just let it ring, because my son in law is in Iraq again.  Who is this and how do I get them to stop?

I too have had 6 calls in 3 days rom this number and T-Moble doesn't know anything about it.  I don't answer calls I don't know and I too am on a no call list.  Your right that we should be able to block these calls for free and should not have to pay.   WHY ARE THERE SICK PEOPLE OUT THERE?

Most telemarketers and any agency are working inside jails now, and some of criminal doing time and so they waist time dialing phone numbers, and if they get lucky.
Those criminal are stressed, and are seeking for sexy young voices Male/Female or young child to fantasize about, and chat to.... anyway use your imagination.
The person could be murderer, child molester, rapist or/and.

Yes; most the times those calls are coming from inside prisons; the criminals are fishing for times, It’s mean you.
If they get jack-pot, the problem it’s after fact; if they did not get rejected by you, they pass the number around in the prison and cell-mate to harass you.
Eventually one of these prisoners become a stalker, and never leaves you alone.
Remember, if they know more about you they become more powerful. For an example; blackmailing.

Please be careful with whom are you dealing with, Do not ever give your ID and/or phone numbers, addresses to any stranger on the phone, no matter what. Your life will be destroy and burn down.

Even if the person says that they are calling straight from the company, ask for the number, and tell them you’ll call them back right way.
The phony person hangs up on you or the number may not exist when you call them back.

The only option left, Bell Canada has dial *57 right away, same time conversation it automatically records, free of cost, the callers number and sends it to the neighborhood police station and OPP, as a report of harassment, and they will investigate, but you have to report this matter right way with your prove *57.

I have been calls from this number 1-088-196-8090 everyday. This needs to stop. I need to know who, why where they calling from

I have gotten calls from this number at least 4 or five times a day for the last week.  I never answer it.  It looks like it is coming from Egypt - Asyut according to the telephone book. I don't know how they got my cell phone number.  I tried to do a call back and it wouldn't go through.  I'm on the Do Not Call List also.  Be very careful when you answer this number.  There times years ago, when people would have you answer just to get connected to someone else by way of your phone.

Sorry I forgot to put the date of the lastest call.  And it was 10:32am, 11:26am, and 12:39pm today. this is rediculous.  Something needs to be done.  Maybe homeland security needs to get involved.

A friend of mine was receiving calls from 10881968090 as well. I tracked the number down, but sadly it was more or less a dead end. The number is provided by a middle-man company which provides international calling services for companies. So I was not able to find the original company responsible, only the company providing them with this number.

i have been getting calls from this number as well.  who are these people and what do they want.  i do not answer calls from numbers that i do not know who they are.  i am on the do not call list how do they get by that.  i wish they would stop calling me.

I have my phone thru comcast cable (broadband) I called them and asked questions! I was told to press *57 to mark it as a nusiance phone call. then I would be able to press charges because the phone company started a trace to find it. the record the info for later use for you. remember to push the *57 right after you hang up

I have had this same number call multiple times. The last call I received, I told them I would have the phone company begin tracing my calls (which I am) and they hung up.

They never say anything, which is weird.

I agreed with you.  I did the same, i didn't know the number and refuse to answer any calls to whom will not identify themselves.  They call me at 11:44am...I was in a class.  Talk about disruptions...LOL

This number calls 4 to 5 times a day at all hours. Does anyone know who this is?

I started getting call on my cell phone from this number about 3 days ago at least twice a day.  I have answered but no one is on the line. Any idea who this could be?

if you answer and get to talk to someone then tell them to take you off of their call list immediately. But get a contact name and number first.
