I have been receiving calls from this very same number.  This man who says his name is Francis Lopez, has an accent, not sure what type calls me from1028551013, this is an overseas call.  I know this, because, my boyfriend is overseas right now. 028, some country code.  This man was very beligerent telling me that he is going to have me arrested for check fraud.  For a payday loan with fast cash that I received in May 2008, and he had my personal information and last four of my soc. But, he had some info wrong, I didn't live at the address, I do now, in 2008, I was in Jacksonville, FL, now in Indiana, first he told me he was at a court house, then he told me he was at an office, had me talk to some other man, and wanted me to fax a letter to him, which he told me to write.  I never got a payday loan in May 2008.  The number he used was in california.  He told me that I owed 1036.21. The number that he told me to call, and had called from after I confronted him about being overseas was 714-409-0283.

I contacted the Attorney General's office, and they told me that it is a scam!  They cannot do anything, because I don't have an address for them.  They told me do not give them anymore info.  Change my debit card info.  But, my card has not been activated yet, so they won't be able to get any money out anyway!  Someone needs to stop this man, andthe people that he works with.  It isn't just one, there are many people in on this!

The same thing happened to me the other day. They said they were from ACS and the guys name was Spencer Reed. He also had an accent and said i took out a payday loan in May of 2008 that i never paid back. And that i now owe them 1236 dollars and if i dont pay it today that i have to be in court tomorrow. They had all my information including two personal references. They keep calling from 102-855-1013 and 02-855-1013 and insisting i need to pay this immediately. I asked for verification and they said all contact was set up through email and no mail was sent per my request. They also said they could not send me verification until the amount was paid. ITS A SCAMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!

I got 2 calls on my cell phone today.

I received a call on my work voicemail and my cell today from someone saying they were Max Anderson and following the script provided above. What I'd like to know is how these creeps got any of my information. Does anyone know how this could have happened?

Seems I have the same scenario as others here...got a call from 102-855-1013 and since I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, let it go to voice mail.  It was a belligerent sounding man with a heavy accent who sounded like he was reading the message from a card...told me to call him or have my attorney call or there's nothing he can do for me and God help me. I guess it's linked to having taken a pay day loan back in December.  I won't do that again.

I also have been getting calls from this number twice a day. They told me it was related to Fast Cash, a payday loan company. I did not verify any of the info they said. I was very calm even though they threatened me, and I was eventually transferred to "an attorney" who read an affidavit to me. After he was done, he asked if I had ever done this before and if I liked not paying back money. He was then going to transfer me to someone else to discuss payment arrangements, but after hearing the weird hold music, I hung up and thought otherwise. I have not heard from the company fast cash at all in months so I am not sure if they actually represent them or somehow got this info illegally since some people above said they never dealt with fast cash or payday loans. I now let these calls go to voicemail and don't call back. They call about every other day. From what I have read, it is almost impossible to take someone to court for the charges they read off. It is illegal for sure....why else would it be some shady company calling and not a real collections agency?

I just received a call at work from this phone number 102-855-1013 today. I could not understand anything the guy was saying. He told me that there was a Lawsuit against my name and SSN being downloaded(which I thouhgt was strange)today at 5:30pm. He said he was from ACS and the call back number they gave me was 408-317-0800. I was told to ask for a Derrick Williams when I call. I called the number 3 times and got a busy signal each time thru. The guy that called me never told me his name at all even when I asked for it. He had a thick accent and it was very noisy int he background. I could hardly hear what was being said.

i received the same calls on my cellregarding a payday loan under my husbands name he gave me my email address and the last 4 of my husbands ssn. He had a heavy accent and i asked him who he worked for and there # he said acu and there  # 2134055347 which is a california #. He also told me that my husband was going to be tried in court. He said that i would need to have an attorney contact him. when i asked when the loan was taken and how much it was for he said it was done jan of 2008 for fast cash for 394.50. i advised him that i was going to check with my bank to see if i had received a payday loan and he said he didn't have time to wait on the phone he had other clients and i didnt have to prove it to him i would have to prove it in court. I checked my bank acct for the last 3 years and nothing showed up.

The address they gave me was 11705 la cienaga blvd los angeles ca 90064. Hope that helps

Received call at work saying i owed money and they were taking me to court tomorrow. Name was "Kevin Peterson" with a thick accent. Hung up on him, they called right back and threatened court again. Said he was from ACS out of Los Angeles CA. number to call back was 408-317-0800.

someon called me today at work he stated his Indian accent which i could hardlly make anything out he was saying .. he stated his name as SEAN JOHNSON .. he said he wanted my attornys number .. well he had my ss# and he had my last 4 of my checking accvount the number they gave me was 1213 405 5347 and the said they were from ACS

he also told me god help me!  what he told you was what he told me.  after i told him to fk off and hung up on him he left me a voicemail saying only god can help you now Jen

I got this same call yesterday 4 times at work... this is harassement and soemthing should be done

Hello, they keep calling me from different numbers.  My persons name is Chris Thompson.  He has called me 12 times in two weeks.  They keep changing the number.  I have fraud protection which i highly recommend.  They are investigating.  Call Equifax and report this breech and they will notify all three major credit agnecies.  Dont call these people back, do not give them current information, do not respond.  My personal attorney gave me the same advice.  I'm sorry this is happening to us all it is very frustrating.  Also it is againts the law to harass you at work so take the name and number and call your local police to press charges or see what they can do for you.  I have also called the Colorado Attorney General office to report this scam.

I also contacted Homeland security and what they told me was that these people are calling from INDIA using California Numbers.

I received a call from the number1-102-855-1013 stating that his name was Mac Johnson but due to the fact that I did not know this number I did not answere it. This is what was left on my voice mail. He stated that it was very important for me or my attorney to give him a call and that this was a time sensitive matter.  If I do not call him immediately I or my attorney will be in big trouble. He had a very bad accent and having lived overseas myself I also recognized that this number was and overseas number.

People this is a scam and please do not fall for it.  If you received a number that you are unaware of do not answer it.  Check your accounts and other financial assets to make sure that your money is there. Please keep a watch on your credit report and all other information pertaining to you. Some one really needs to find out who this person is and lock him up.

I received a call from a man today demanding that I call him back. He didn't tell me the name of any company. He just stated that he needed me to call him ASAP or have my attorney call him. The phone # he provided was 313-362-4230 which just rings and then goes to a busy signal. He told me that if I didn't call him soon he wishes me luck. Whatever that means. I feel relieved to know that I'm not the only person that received this call.

Got calls from this number this morning at 7:34am,8:00am, 9:14am, 9:16am and at the same time another call from the same number on my call waiting 9:16am.  At 9:01am got a call from this number 202-403-0828.  

When I finally answered a man with a heavy Indian accent asked for my husband by full name.  told me it was urgent that he call him back.  mentioned a number but I didn't care to write it down.  I asked him what this is regarding, he said it was a private matter.  I told him that I was his wife and why could I not know? (realized later I should not have given out that info) but then he asked me for my name, I changed the subject by asking him what this was regarding.  He said he was from ACS and that my apartment complex had a lawsuit but before he could finish, I told him to take my phone number OFF of his list and hung up.  He has not called back yet.  God knows all and sees all.  These people will reap what they are sowing!  Everything always comes to light.

Yesterday a message was left on my voicemail at work from Mark Wilson phone 102-855-1013.  The number he told me to call back on was 714-333-2948.  When I called this number to see why I received a threat from this Indian person named Mark Wilson the other guys made him sound nice.  I was told I would be charged with Fraud the next day from an unpaid loan.  his is all untrue and he wouldn't give me information and hung up.  I tried to call back and the number rings busy all the time.  This guy had way to much personal information.  Any ideas how to go after these people?  I'm researching it.

To all who have recieved calls from these people who claim you owe money and you will be charged with fraud.  There has to be a common place we have been to that these people picked up on our personal information from. There is a site on the FBI Fraud IC3, to post a complaint.
