I was dating for 3 months on the yahoo.com and by phone +60-16-237-8641 with e-mail of matt19621@gmail.com with a CA phone number of 408-905-1360. After 2 month he went to Malaysia and I was so into the guy that I lost a lot of money. Don't let this happen to anyone else. Check out these guy with your Local FBI office. Find out their name, date of birth, address and what ever else they will give you as if it is real they will give it all to you. They are Devils/Scammers they know the game.....

I believe I was recently chatting with this person and didn't realize it was a scam until I saw your message.  I was a few weeks, he got my info from the Senior dating sight.  Similar MO, claiming to be a Architect then he got a contract to work in Malaysia.  I got suspicious when he kept proclaiming his love, I did too, but he was willing to die for me.  That was weird.  He hadn't asked me for money yet, but went by the name Matthew Antonio Buffon.  Claimed he was from italy and lived in Santa Monia, Ca.  I would love to find these people and kick their [***].

I got several text messages from 111-044-0101 earlier from a guy named Joshua Pollard who claims to be in the US Army, stationed in Afghanistan. I started talking to him through Yahoo messenger in April. Shortly after we started talking he told me that he found a cargo burried in the dessert with $2.3 million USD inside of it. He claims to have hidden it in his office since 2010. He said he has his own office because he is a Colonel in the Army. Anyway he said that he would be retiring soon and asked me if he could mail the money to me. I reluctantly agreed and gave him my address and everything. He supposedly sent the "package" from a courier company in Afghanistan called E-Celtic Security and Courier Services. The package was sent to one of their offices in Malaysia, that's when the trouble started. They told me that they needed money for taxes, and stamps plus a lable of some sort. I ended up sending over $1500 to this fake courier service. I was fed up by this point and stopped all contact on Yahoo messenger with this person and didn't hear from him in a couple of weeks until tonight when I got a text message from 111-044-0101. He is still begging me for money claiming that this would be the last payment and then I would receive the package. I told him I wouldn't send it and now he claims his life is in danger because he needs me to scan him a copy of some document that he stuck in the package in order for him to be able to retire from the Army. This doesn't make any sense to me. Has anyone else gotten any messages like this?

The guy claims to be David Joshua Brooks, stranded most recently in the UK.  Oil and gas industry.  Very persistent.  Met on Match.com  believable, wants to know all about you.  Sent pictures.   Originally gone to Angola then Nigeria, lost everything, now found his way to London to see his son.  Needs money desparately to get 'home' to the US to get on with his life and the "woman he loves".  Calls are at 2-5 AM    IMs, texts, and emails with an occasional frantic call.  Swears to God a lot.

i met this guyin wweb site.he claimed the same and ask money for the courier buti denied it..

People...all this is is a yahoo instant message sent to your mobile phone. Granted, there are a lot of yahoo spammers out there, but when I IM my wife on yahoo, that is the number that appears. To reiterate, the number, in and of itself, is simply a yahoo messenger Instant Message sent to a mobile phone.

Hey People are you getting calls or text messages from a Bill Chris born in Britian, lives in Ohio! I am sure he is a scammer. I am getting text messages and e-mails from him bill_chris2011@yahoo.com. I have been trying to check this guy out so if anyone know or has any information please let me know. He has not asked for anything except for me to love him. I don't understad why people have to hurt other this way. Claims he has faith but yet he can scam women this way.

I have been exchanging messsages fromt this number, met him on match.com, he claims to love me... can't seem to give me his real address or phone number this one 202 481 9008 when i google it comes up like the 111044010, Its freaky cause he seemed somewhat genuine.  He did drop off match as soon as we started chatting.  Says he is in Nigeria, an engineer working on roads and bridges.  a project he financed until it will be finished.  Today he lost his wallet and all his credit cards, didnt come right out and ask for money, only my help cuz he is so deperessed, hates himself etc...
This blows me away.  Everything I read today says its a scam.

This guy just messenged me on Zoosk. But his profile said he lived in Salem. OR not Ohio. I did not messenge him back. I searched his email and your remark came up.

Also have been chatting via Yahoo messenger with "Richard Redburn" who today asked for money to get gold bars from Ghana to US. Told him already I didn't have $$ & today told him I couldn't loan him money.  Don't know how many names he is using but today he texted me via 111-044-0101  Suspected it was a scam but this page confirms it... Seemed so real, but then had to leave country night before we were to meet 1st time, just a bit too convenient!

I too have had the same experience with David Joshua Brooks - only was in Benin, country in Africa, now in England visiting son. Met through Senior People Meet.  The rest of what you said is so similar - has to be the same person.

Could his name be Randall D Witt - supposedly a Colonel in Iraq, had been in Afganistan - did his 22 years - out - is in Ghana now with his daughter - he supposedly had malaria - and is home from the hospital now.  The story of the 15  gold bars is a bit different from what I heard, but wonder if it is the same person, just changed the story a bit.

Met guy on senior dating site claims to be Carlo Martino in states on business....from Italy own royal gems limited...has a website for this company....Disappearred off the dating site immediately after Yahoo Instant Messanger started.....Claims to be widowed and have a set of twins....found him on Facebook several accounts all with no friends except one site has 19 friends who are all women...has pics of twins  and their names on one site....calls me an angel and talks about my smile.  I had messanger down and rec'd via cell phone and the number 1110440101 came up....He sounds to go to be true...so you know what the saying is "If it sounds to good to be true, it's probably not true"

Could be the same person.  He used a webcam when chatting on yahoo messenger and called from a Virginia phone #.  Guess he could have somehow routed a call through that number.  

Didn't mention a daughter -- said his son was in medical school in Singapore.  

I cut off all communication from him after letting him know that I had learned he was a scammer.  Fortunately, I had maintained a healthy skepticism about him because things didn't quite match up.
