Never mentioned a son,  Had a daughter , 18, send a pic of he and she - was a widower of 5 years.
Retired from Army August 1, 2011, did communicate on Yahoo messenger.

Don't send him any money!

Would like this number to stop texting my phone, I assume their from a sex hotline trying to get u to enter your credit card info

My story is extremely similar with bits and pieces of everyone's. His name is Roy Albert, he has an 11 yo daughter. From the Waco, TX area and met on match.com. He also quit using the site when we made contact and left before meeting for Africa for a job. Civil Engineer, and now is going to be gone for 2 months. He has not asked me for money yet, and did the whole, I'm in love with you thing. Uses a yahoo chat for communication, but I also received text messages beginning today from the 1110440101 number. That's how I found these stories. After communicating through text and yahoo at the same time, I realized that the messages from the text were going into the yahoo, as if they were linked. Not sure what is happening, but I smell a rat.

Person texting all hours...can you take some action. This needs to stop

I have also been hearing from David Joshua Brooks, says he is divorced, currently living in Albany New York in a rental, looking for a house to buy, claims he deals in oil and gas contracts, son in England going to medical school, gave me an 800 number to call him, on seniorpeoplemeet.com  Says he grew up in Ireland, did a degree in marine engineering in Finland, has lived all over the world.  Sends a photo of a very good looking man.
At his request, did give him my home email address and telephone when he said he was discontinuing the subscription, but noticed he is still up there weeks later.
Has not asked for money yet, nor will he get any (my parents always taught me not to ever lend money to anyone), so did not get burnt!  I also stayed away from any emotional statements, but began to get suspicious when he claimed computer problems and didn't call me instead.
You live and learn, no point in being angry, just another learning experience.

This seems all to familiar.  Michael Williams, Kevin James and Scott Miniz.  The first claims to be in Nigeria, working on a project in Nigeria.  Has a daughter names Linda who sends emails from his email account.  Financed this project, but now will be paid on a money order, which he can't cash there.  Asked for $450.00 to buy food for his sick daughter.  Said no thanks.
The other 2 claim to be in the military in afghanistan, retiring in several months and can't get home.  Both need $500 to get home.  
Obvious scam!  Please send no money!

Exactly mu story! Please be aware. He is a scam artist gives you money and then wants you to transfer money through western union. Claims to be a CEO of Royal Gems. The site is also fake.

Hi! I'm a divorced woman living in Las Vegas this man , Matt Buffon,romanced me for a year since last May, but he fooled me differently, by having me get a checking account and using it for his business, I just found out this business wasn't on legal terms and I maybe responible for the money that was wired. I been so sick about this in more ways than I know what to do, because I really was crazy in love with this guy. I'm not even sure if he is for real at all. Yea I have been getting messages and email from a similar person.  Wonder if FBI would like to chase this guy.  I'm enjoying the show.  Such a bunch of bunk.  Now he wants to use google chat.  I figure that would give enough of the IP address that I'd have to sleep with a weapon.  Hah!

Have been getting texts & IM's from this guy until a few days ago. He saw my profile on Christian Mingle, and really hit me with crap about true love....marriage. Said his name was Peter Mcardle and his email is pmcardle1@live.com.  His IM is pcuddle9700. He was really persistent and romantic. Starting asking for money. Said he sold interior decorations and went to Dubai for a huge job for Indonesia. Said his credit card was blocked and needed money bad. I refused and he persisted until I asked him for his birthdate and address for a background check. He claimed to be 55 and said he had 29 year old son that worked with him. I found his email to belong to the UK. I used Spokeo. Got 2 more guys working in Malaysia 3 days ago using some of the same lines.

Everyone has a Attorney General in there area and this is where you do your reports for fraud and scams. It's easy to find that contact in any city. in 2012

This sounds like the same guy that I was deeply in love with: I have spent over $8,000. on him and he was suppose to pay me back when he came home from Africa. Said he owned his own business and he builds bridges and roads. He went by James Larry. I have never been so badly hurt in my entire life. Now I got to pay all that money back plus interest. I don't know how I am going to do it either. At one time he told me he was hungry and I end up paying $500. in food at a mart over there  and then he tells me after he shared it with his workers.I have went wit out to help him. I paid for cell phones that cost $1800. and then paid for all his minutes for him too. He use the excuse that he couldn't get his money until he returned to the US. I have a whole box of emails from him, and he called me all the time and told he loved me so much and I was his soul mate and couldn't wait to come home and be with me. I paid for his plane ticket home $2500. and he was suppose to be home in a couple of days in December 2012. Then I get a call saying he is dyeing and he had a pretend Doctor call me and said he had lost a lot of blood and needed surgery, and they wanted me to send money for that too. I said I couldn't do anymore that all the means of me getting anymore money had been washed up. So now I don't hardly hear from him. I could go on and on about this. Get out while you can, the pain and sorrow isn't worth what they put you through!!!!!!!!

I to fell for the scammers..I was talking to a man James Hutchinson and he mentioned the name Matthew Buffon he gave me a suppose to be motel room phone.in East Africa 011-278-44552940..he was supposely ove r there on a road contract for 3 wks,but can up with an accent pretty quick..He ask me for $500 for his company was short of funds and he would pay me bk as soon as he got here with me..When I said No then he needed $100 and when I din't do that he got mad and just couldn't believe I couldn't trust him..Even tho I had told him about the previous scammers..BUT HE WAS DIFFERENT..Then we quit talking.Then when I saw his name pop up again he had a different pic..I ask him about it ,well it was a friend that had passed and he was just thinking about him...Alex Jones in Maylasia...Richie Lewis in Mayalsia.. I have heard all of it from money to get home to me..Meds for the kid..Car wrecks..you name it I have heard it..love me so much they just can't wait till they marry me...All their phones are broken or something the reason they can't take a self portrait. I tell them to write my name and date on a pic of paper and send it to me..well that doesn't and won't happen..They are ALL SCAMMERS>>

I been with this dude Matt Buffon since May 2011, he has promised to come home to be with me. And, I have several pictures. I admit, I have fallen for this guy big time. But so many things are not adding up. Hes never took money from me. If anything, hes been very generous. And most to time loving. I just fine it weird we haven't met yet. And, everytime we come close something happens. To provent us from meeting each other. I just love to know who he is. He has an Italian accent. And gave me the same profile, 51, from Italy, wife died from cancer, has a daughter. Hes was living in Califoria when we first started talking to each other.
When He went on the trip to Malaysia he started calling me his wife. I just didn't relize I was one of many.
I feel like such a fool.
