I looked over cell phone bill, found texts received on my phone by this number and also on my husband's and it seems he responded it to it as well. What IS this?!

Most likely it appears if you send pics back and forth via phone, or messages from email to phone or vice versa.

My husband has texts from and sent to this number.  They all seem to appear in the EARLY AM.

I have received text from this number as well, it seems to be for me anyway a message from Blinko.com telling me I have new downloads. I have never been to this site but I believe that it's from internet sites where it asks for your cell number in order to get you to do a survey or the answer to a question. The number that comes up on the call id is 4222 but on the phone bill it's 111-048-4000. There are also texts sent fron my husbands phone which I have no idea what they are from. Don't know if this helps at all, but I hope so.

Shows as sent/received text. What/who is it? On my bf record late at night, before I flip out, I'd like to be sure. If it shows sent message first, did he send?

I got several of these on my cell phone bill this month. No text messages were actually sent (I checked my text message log) but I am getting charged for them. I have no clue where they are coming from, or why they are on my bill. I just got off the phone with AT&T and they are clueless too. They are putting a block on that number for me though so I won't have it happening anymore.

111-048-4000 isn't a valid number according to AT&T and they said that it sounds like someone is spamming my number, but they have no idea who is actually doing it.

First I had texts coming and going on my bill from 111-047-0400 since September.  Called AT&T, they didn't know what was happening.  But I found out about it because someone in Cali was getting text messages coming from my phone number (the person called me wondering why the hell I was texting them and their friends).  But I never sent them, and the time the texts were sent, there was nothing in my text log on the phone.  Then, yesterday the 111-048-4000 started showing up.  Honestly, I think someone is spamming phone numbers to be able to send text messages that they don't have to pay for.  AT&T thinks it is linked to Yahoo Messenger on the phone because the messages show up from those numbers as going through Yahoo.  I have disabled texting for my phone for a few weeks to see if it stops... That's the only alternative I can think of since AT&T blocked charges from the one number but now another number is showing up doing the same thing.  More than frustrating!  If most people that are having this problem have AT&T maybe it's an issue just with that company that they need to look into (such as someone hacking phone numbers).  Would be nice to know what carriers that people have that are having this problem...

Yes we are having the same issues and we to have AT&t. They are only showing up on my husbands cell phone and when he thinks he's sending me a text it goes to this #111-047-4000. I would like info on this also. It is a # that has been showing up for about 3 months now.

I to thought my husband was cheating again! It is a number that was showing up for the last 3 months or so. My nick name is also my email so any one with info on what this is please let me know . Are any of you in the military or is it just an AT&T thing?
