Just happened to me on my Tracfone - 2 in a row, blank, both taking double minutes off.  How does reporting it here help to stop it though? Is there somewhere we can report this who might actually be able to take action?

if you get this call or a voice mail or text NEVER text/call back cause it can be fake and charge you a lot of money!!!

buuuuttt, i have no minutes on my cell and i got this and didn't get charged a thing, and i have a prepaid for cingular. so maybe the prepaid does count. i also had the glitch where i couldn't view the text until i restarted my cell phone (hmm.. restarted... that sounds like a computer, maybe i should say turned off then turned back on?) not many have my cell, and the few that do don't really call or anything and are highly trusted to me.

I have a net10 prepaid, its a LG phone, I get the same thing every few days. It could be 1 friend trying to send me pics, cause shes text obsessed will have to yell at her and see if it stops.

I got this text on my Tracfone as well. I hope Tracfone isn't sharing cell numbers with third parties.

I got this text on my Tracfone and I am thinking they might be giving numbers out to third parties. A couple of people on here say they have Tracfone and are getting texts from this number.

Same thing happening to me folks. What I have been doing is; I'll exit the message warning, go to my inbox, and check the name before I open it. If I see #1111301000 as the name I will delete it and no units will be used. One time I had a friend text me a picture from his cell phone while he was in the same room as I was. He ask me later if I had looked at it, and when I checked, guess what? It had the #1111301000. So, I have concluded that it is people trying to send pictures and/or texts to phones that won't receive pictures in a text or with different formats. Hope this helped.

Happened when a friend tried to send a pic to me.

Hi folks, Curt here again. Just to make sure, I tested it. I had a friend send (text) me a picture from their phone while they were standing right next to me. I got the "1111301000" blank text message as a result. I didn't know you could TEXT a picture. LOL! Now, there might be more to it than that. I believe whats causing it is incapatbilities in formats or digital signatures, or some other technical crap like that. Thats what happens when you try to mix new technology with old. Just my opinion folks.

I have a LG Net10 phone which are prepaid. I think it could be the phone company that keeps texting you to waste your minutes. Looking at the comments it was only tracphones and my brother who has a regular cell phone hasn't gotten one before.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I get messages from the area code 111 fairly regularly. I have Net10. The text costs 10cents. That's a two page text with no words! I have wondered if maybe it's some scam in which someone is actually able to steal minutes by sending a bogus text. It sounds weird, but it's possible, maybe? If not, then someone is just plain wasting out minutes! I hope it's not our cell phone companies wanting us to run out of minutes sooner so we buy more minutes.

i got a text message with that same stuff on there and it ate up .6 units on my motorola trac phone C139.

I have a tracfone and recieve text messages from 1111301000. As everyone else there is no message and it deducts 6 units instead of 3. The overall majority of these text messages are going to tracfone customers. I think we all need to contact them and voice our concerns. It is very possible they are doing it to increase sales on the minutes

What it is is...someone is trying to send you a text with an image in it...a picture. I have it happen and it's always one of my family trying to send me a pic from their phone. Since my phone doesn't receive picture texts..this is what I get. I don't know if there is a way to view the pics online or not but I know this isnt a government conspiracy or identity theft or spam...it's someone YOU know..trying to send you a pic from THEIR PHONE and it wont come through because YOUR phone doesnt receive picture messages..it's as simple as that. Ask your family and friends who is doing it and tell them you cant see them and to stop sending them to you..problem solved..its simple people...wow@all these outlandish theories.

I got a text message today(7/23/2009) on my AT&T cell from 111-130-1000. It said &application/vnd.wap.mns-message. i also have 2 tracphones. They didn't get anything as others have stated theirs did. All my numbers are on the do not call registry. Can someone please let me know what the heck this is?!

I too am with Net10 and getting these text more regularly now.  It costs 50 cents per text. I am on the phone now with Net 10 supervisor and they have no way to stop it.  It appears Net10 and TracFone are being targeted. They want to change your number, but that will not stop the people that are getting these numbers. It will only inconvience me the customer. No one has my number but my family so the leak must be from Net10 or TracFone. Only solution is to change carriers to stop this loss of our money. Net10 makes out so they may not want to help. Well Reshan has left me on hold this time for over 30 min so he just wants me to hang up. He probably is just sitting there laughing. Time to get rid of net10.
