My husband answered one of these calls today. The person asked for him by name. We knew it was a scam so he said he wasn't home as and asked what they were calling about. They said it was a courtesy call from Primerica. THey also asked when he would be back and he told them in a couple of weeks. We will see if they call again.

I keep getting this number on my phone all hours of the day and night 1234567890 is there something that can be done to stop this number from calling me?

Receive 1 or 2 calls from this piece of [***] scam every couple of days.  Last one received was from PRIMUS.  Some [***] from India as I asked who she was and where she was calling from.  I pissed her off by being very abusive to her.  She was to stupid to hang up so I continued to discriminate her and offend her!  You may think I'm rude for my actions, but if the company is going to be rude to me by harassing me with their telemarketing calls, I'll be rude right back to them.  I enjoy wasting their time as much as they waste mine! haha.

I live in London, Ontario and never ever use my phone I don't even have a friend... so I copied the standard bell message, "Sorry but this number doesnt exist... type of thing"... But that didn't stop them yet...

So now, I just turn off the sound on my answering machine and phone and that works for me.

If Bell doesn't do something soon,,, I am going to use EMAIL only since I can control that.

I never answer calls from numbers or names I am not familiar with.  Have received many calls from 123-456-7890 which I do not answer, and they never leave a message.  Was happy and scared that so many other people are getting calls from this number.  How can this be stopped?

we got the phone call a few times, they just asked if i was over 18 or not to answer questions and it was an actual person, not jsut a machine....how odd

(323)404-8579 is a bogus person im sick of this man he needs jail time, 1-866-840-1377 i believe uses the guy at this number (323)404-8579  to do there dirty work in the Los Angeles area he needs to go down (323)404-8579 is his number.

This number calls our house every single day for the last month! I never answer it....who gives out a number like that to someone! Doesn't the telephone company think this number is a little strange!!

Just got a new phone # and it's a new phone # for 2 days now...and I got 2 calls already from a lady that is asking for someone else....not sure who it is...I am the owner of this new number, and more telemarketers calling me!  I didn't ask her who she was, but her English is terrible.  What the hell does she want...and I told her I am the new owner of this # and the person she is looking ofr is no longer the owner of this #.  Stop calling me.

I live in Toronto and keep getting calls from it too. I will answer the next one just because I'm curious.

This number showed up on my call display early this morning at 3:03am.  It wasn't a telemarketer, but rather it was the Tele-health Ontario nurse returning my call.  

Seems that the number isn't restricted to telemarketing use.

This number appears as a missed call on my phone every business day for the past two and a half weeks, always while I am at work so I'm never around to answer.  They never leave a message.

They called quite a lot lately, and I picked up the phone once, but there was no answer.  Today, they called around 9:30am, and I got a guy from India with a very strong accent offering a promotion from Primus.  I asked him a few questions related to his offer, and he had to transfer me to his supervisor just to answer simple questions related to his offer like limited or unlimited internet bandwith... He sounded unconfident! They will be calling back to see if I want to take the offer or not.

Called this evening. Didn't answer, stopped ringing after 8 rings

It rings once or twice but I don't pick up. So freakin annoying!!!

Called tonight, didn't bother to answer - who would answer a phone number that looks that deliberately fake!? :)

I've been getting a LOT of other random 800# calls lately, and have no idea who any of them are.

Received two calls, but there is no one on the other end. Thanks to this site, I now know that it could be the scammers. I can't wait till they call back, and I can screw with them!
