This is a strange number. They must have faked it. The call showed up as "Unknown Caller" on my callerid.

It's a weird no. Called my number twice, but I never anwered it. Who are these people?

They said the call was from the US Chamber of Commerce and asked me to call my Republican senator regarding a bill being voted on today.

Just got a call from this number and didn't pick up--Googled the number instead lol!

i get at least 5 calls a day from this number there is never anythin on the other end if any bode finds these people whip there [***] for me

After getting about 6 of these calls today (and no message on the machine) I finally answered.  After about 6 "hellos", they asked for me by name, but then silence!  Nothing more was said!

Picked up after two rings, no one on line. Hung up before a computerized call could have kicked in.

OMG i was glad to see this post! I keep getting calls on my cell phone from 1234567890 and i always get hung up on when i answer. I have searched all over for who it could be, even called verizon and they couldn't figure it out either lol. strange!

I received one call last week, claiming they were calling from Directv, offering $1800 in free equipment. I knew they were NOT calling from Directv, and asked the guy on the other end for a number I could call him back at. He gave me a bogus number.

Today, they called midday, claiming to be from Dish Network. When I started asking probing questions, he disconnected the call.

Sounds like an attempt at ID theft. They're trying to get your personal information and use it.

I get a call from this number about 2 times a day. I picked it up once and no one was there. Iam scared someone is stalking me. Thank god i found this.

I've received two calls (August 6th and 7th) with nothing at other end. I used *69 and found the questionable #. Can this be stopped?

my mom received a call from 1-234-567-890. It stopped ringing as soon as she picked up the phone. I thought it was strange becuase it was clearly missing a number. I asked some of my friends about it, who then told me about this site.

This is a hacker spoofing the caller ID message over VOIP. Remember who or where you have given your phone number to, over the internet. Don't even exclude long-time online "friends" from consideration.

Hacking is becoming easier and more popular every day, while computer users remain uninformed. Simply running a firewall and anti-virus and not thinking twice is a fatal misconception. If you think you've been hacked, reformat your computer, only use trusted files (from official websites or printed disks), and if you have a static IP, contact your ISP and inform them you've been hacked and need a new IP.

As shown in this case, the greatest vulnerability in computer security is the user. Don't trust any person or unofficial website with your personal information.

I keep getting calls from this number as well, sometimes four or five times a day for the last few days. I havn't pick up and no message was left on my voice mail.

i got this call a few years ago on vacation, and i showed it to my dad, and he was like, DONT ANSWER IT!
i think its the devil, or something. lol.

I've been getting a lot of calls from these jokers lately.  I think one of the earlier posts is right, that they are ID thieves.  Don't give them any personal info at all.

I got a call from this number tonight...I found it strange and just quickly picked it up to hang up right away...I didn't want it going to my voicemail since some ppl are creative and can figure out how to get into things like that.  They never called back...guess they got the hint the first time.  Be careful...they might know your info and maybe might be recording your voice for some kind of ID theft...maybe I'm paranoid??!!
