I too received the phone call from these numbers today 1409580674 and 1409804513. The first guy called himself as Krishna Kumar and the second guy called himself as Subhash.  The conversations was exactly similar to what Nanda has described above on 2.2.15. I told him that I would verify with my agent and will call him as to whether I should take the money through agent or directly. When I asked him at what number I should call he gave me his cell no. as 09643886587.  After talking to him I became suspicious and then googled the above two numbers which took me to this site and I read what fraudulent things these people are doing. Immediately I called him and told him that you are a fraud as per google claims. He immediately disconnected the phone. So be careful all of you and this site is doing a good job in alerting the people. Thanks to all those who have voiced their feelings. Can anybody suggest how to trace these people and penalize them. LIC should send a message all policy holders to be beware of such spurious calls.

Yesterday I got call from reliance loan dept on my personal land line no.*****584  when I say I m not interested in ur loan the sales person shouted n make calls again n again using cheap language . The reliance how can appoint such cheap persons in company ?

Today I got a call from this number stating that they are calling from CBI enquiry telling that my son has committed a serious crime and asked his details. Since I said that he is in foreign country. The call got disconnected. Kindly requesting the concerned authorities to take necessary action on these fake callers.

Similar call I received today 28.10.2015 like above.  We do not understand in this country why still such a thing happens, is there no police in this country not going tracking this number basing on this public correspondence, is that number untrackable with these cell phone companies, and deal with LIC to mitigate this problem releasing basic advertisements and so on, Are they not for public help? We need to do something strong from here. We shall have some association to deal with this. Also we have some policy with LIC which we left with them, the money hoping we can follow up when we get time.  We have huge problems like delaying, correspondences not reaching to addresses, and many such.  Should our money which we save with organisations should go bankrupt for us, why any organisation not keeping the money for one's lifetime and hurries to transfer somewhere else making it difficult to even more to follow when we get time.  In our opinion, any amount that is 100 years old only should be transferred to other place like RBI or whatever, until then why any organisation dealing our money not have the basic knowledge and infrastructure, as no one questions these are happening now-a-days in our country.  We should act forward to stop this.

Identify himself from LIC office Jeevan Tara building New Delhi and informed me 135000 dividend is unclaimed by me and asked if I want to apply and  so on

This is fraud call dont give any of your personal details.

I asked for employee ID (as said her name was Komal Sharma), she didn't gave.. then i asked to talk to her senior she gave the phone to the other person... she told her name Pallavi Tyagi and her employee ID as A190829

im still getting this calls with same way, but im asking him to talk with me coz my dad cant talk in english or hindi, then he hangs up. in fact he is calling me from 2 years in a intervals on 6 months are more.
when i said him that he has to speak with me coz my dad cant speak english or hindi he arrogantly replied to teach my dad english hindi  and PANJUBI (i guess he is panjubi) before in reply he hung up immediately. he speak good hindi.
now when i search for this number is internet im getting this information.
he is hanging the phone immediately that shows he is fraud.
IMPORTANT THING to note, that i heard more people indulge in calling behind his voice im afraid more people are doing the same, he is doing this from that long time as im getting particularly his call from past 2 years , this scam is surviving from that time ? !!!
why isnt our government not taking any action. why isnt they are not trapped yet ?

Did they ever find anyone who could speak or write English? 'Coz' English comprehension is important. 'Coz' getting a job is easier when you can read and write English. 'Coz' you should know that.

forgot to mention :-  1409580674- im getting call from this number as a LIC officer, is always asking for LIC and other related information.

I got call too from this number and the lady was asking for all the details like policy number, date of expiration, pan details etc with similar information on agents et al. I did give my policy details but am not sure of what happens if people shared pan and other details. If someone can help to stop this menace and give details on how and where to complain about people like this, it would help

i got a call asking for my insurance policy details .he was very adament. He mentioned he is lic officer and wants to verify details. When I asked him to provide  my policy no. Which he did not disclose. I immediately understood and told him this is a fraud call and will inform police and i asked for his number from which he is calling, he gave me some Delhi mobile number but he is not aware we have caller id that shows 1409804513 . when i searched the mobile number through True caller the name displayed Meena but he mentioned his name as Anand Sinha 3rd floor jivan tara building Delhi -110001 and he hung up the call
