If you're on the DO NOT CALL registry list, go to their website and file a complaint. If enough people file complaints against them, then they will be forced to investigate this company.  They just called my phone and I went straight there and filed a complaint.  I'm now going to wait to see if anything is done.

These [***] have been calling at least once a day. Thhis time they asked me if I requested info about schools in the area.  I'm fed up with it!

I think I finally got them to stop.  First, since they were asking for a social security number to verify my identity, I reported the number to the Verizon Wireless Fraud Department.  Then the next time they called which was within an hour I played them for all they were worth.  Acted like I was SO THRILLED AND INTERESTED, after about 10 minutes I let the guy have it with both barrels.  He tried to convience me otherwise, like well we have a web site.  Who cares, anyone can dummy up a web site and the fact that it wouldn't come up as he spoke didn't help him in the least.  The result was when he couldn't squirm out of it, I was hung up on and haven't received a call since.

Brandi, if they are asking you inappropriate questions such as this and it happens again, make something up to indicate that the line is being tapped.
And do file a complaint, with the appropriate agency (I'm not sure what that would be in your area).

I've been getting unsolicited calls from this and many other numbers mentioned here.  It all started when I tried to sign up for a free xbox 360, after seeing the commercial on tv.  Should have known better.  I was drunk.

The caller has called multiple times never left a voicemail however they like to call right about what would normally be a lunch break for a person at work 12:31 PM to be exact.

Keep calling in the afternoon and at night and sit on the phone and dont answer or respond???

just keep calling just about every hour for the past few days, and they have done this before, they start early in the morning and never answer when i answer, once they did but i could not understand them at all. i want them to stop it is so annoying

They have been calling me off and on for about a month but this past week they have been calling twice a day.  I also am getting sick of having to ignore it and then delete the number.

The guy says hello, which is a requirement under some laws for a live person to be on the phone BEFORE they play a recording.  Then, the recording plays and it says that I have been pre approved for a prepaid mastercard with a $10,000 limit.  Interestingly, the person who says hello is the SAME one who has been calling me for months and months and sometimes 5-10 times a day.  I did find a different number on caller ID with the same area code by the same person.  Frankly, the only way to get justice anymore is to handle things yourself.  Killing is a little extreme as others have said regarding this, but beating the crap out of the person(s) responsible for this and making is a good beating probably will teach them a lesson.  I am on the Do Not Call list and have been and they still ignore that and violate it.  I am wondering if thay have a very old list that they purchased from someone or stole from another company's trash?  Again, the fact that they say hello is a requirement under law before a recorded announcement is played.  I recall the law mandating that a live person verify that the place they are calling had a live person answer and then can play the recording, however I vaguely recall that they had to obtain permission first before it is played which this dumb idiot isnt doing.  Being our government doesn't care, its time people kick the crap out of these people and stand up for whats wrong in this country with companies and corporations ripping people off left and right.  But, thats a whole other subject in itself.

when i answer the phone, a man's voice says, "hello?"  right after i respond, a message is started to try and get me to apply for a credit card.  no information is given, other than "you have been approved for a platinum credit card for $10,000!"  there is no return phone number, so it is impossible to talk to anyone.  they are just trying to collect personal information.  i have a few relatives with 'out of area' caller id, so i sometimes answer these calls, but every time i fall for this scam, it is very madening.  arg.  please shut down this number!!

get 4 to 5 calls on cell a day - finally had phone turned on today and answered it some guy said - hello and then an offer for a Visa plat card offer - has anyone been able to stop this number??
