Man I just googled jayshree new jersey after doing a reverse lookup on the number. I see this is an ongoing problem. Are all of us in college. I am not but my brother just recently started school. What an *** hole. I am getting calls every day about 2x a day. How can I report this

Called me yesterday 6/23 and about every day up to a week prior. I don't use my home phone much so I turn the ringer off and I just hear when the messg. service comes on. Every time they hang up. I turned on my ringer because I want to see what kind of bull**it they are going to try to sell to me. As far as I am concerned this is harassment.

Getting tired of the constant phone calls.  T-mobile says they can be stopped from their website.  I will !  Evrika !!!

Called my cell 5 times in a period of 5 hours. Never left a message. Finally answered, woman (India?) knew my name told her nobody here by that name and she hung up immediately. I hope that works...

Said I had won a choice of trips.  That there was no catch & that I needed to set up an appt. to pick up my package.  They game me a package quote# & said that I neede to bring that in once I arrived.  Said that this didn't involve a time share or anything like that.  Was asked my email address, age, another number I could be reached at & was given my address.  I thought it might be real but after reading all this I know it wasn't.  Was given an address & a name:  Worldwide Destination Services  5422 Bay Center Drive Suite#100 Tampa, FL  33609.  Was also told that I would receive an email reflecting my conversation with her.  Needless to say I didn't receive anything.

They use a computer to dial random numbers. That's why the do not call registry doesn't help.

I estimate I've had a dozen of these this week alone. This is one of the call centres that dials several numbers at a time and only speaks to the first to answer. So when you pick up the phone, several times a day, there's no-one there. Of course, if you're the lucky one an Indian voice asks how you are today. I told him, but they still keep calling. Previous calls, maybe from the same number, want me to invest money with them. Annoying yes, optimistic certainly.

Reading the posts in this site I gather you're mainly in the USofA. I'm in the UK, these people don't care who they annoy. Apparently my Telephone Preference Service can't stop international calls.

I received two previous calls today from this number and did not answer only to have them hang up on my answering machine. The third time they called I picked up and was addressed by my first name. He introduced himself as "Frank" with a very thick Spanish accent. "Frank" went on to tell me that I won $200 worth of free vouchers if I pay $3 in s&s. He asked for my full name and I told him I was not comfortable giving any information over the phone. He then got very forceful and asked for my name 3 more times before I hung up on him. This call made me feel extremely creepy and I am glad to know I am not alone with this experience.

Wow! So glad I found this site! I had two missed calls yesterday on my cell phone from this number. I was about to call it back, but had second thoughts. I've been struggling with scam phone calls from another number, which is from India, however thankfully they stopped!

Anyway, I am so sorry to see these fools annoying everyone. I am going to go to all the websites you all suggested. Hopefully we can get this creep to leave us alone! I really don't want to change my number and shouldn't have to. I called Verizon, who is my cell phone provider, and they cannot block phone numbers.

the number 1-201-621-5695 calls me every 10-15 min on my cell phone when i answer they hang up, and when i call back i get a busy signal, this so frustrating!!!

at least 5 times a day from this US number even called me when I was on the phone to my service provider to try and block it!!!!

Now they're "Education Services", has called every day for a month, I have now switched to asking for a supervisor right away every time they call (It sounds like the same person each time.), he tries to tell me he IS a supervisor and refuses to let me speak to anyone else.
I politely remind him that supervisors don't make cold calls, at least none that I've ever known.
He absolutely refuses to let me speak to anyone one charge, if/when I can find a real billing address and an owner I will be suing them. I have even slipped and told them that, and they're still calling.

Read a little form called TCAP on your telephone communication rights. Cell phones? Illegal. Even if somehow you accidentally signed up for something that solicits calls from these people just saying "stop calling me" once, ONLY ONCE, is enough to validate your rights under tcap and prohibit them from calling you. They're also not allowed to call more then once in a 30 day period and only between certain hours, 11:30PM is not within that range, lol. From what I understand they're allowed ONE freebie where they call you on accident, you tell them you're on the national do not call list, you tell them that it's a cell phone, etc. After that it's definitely illegal. In TCAP there's all kinds of wonderful information on your rights, violating any of these rights is payable up to $500.00 for each violation (that's $500.00 at least, every time they call you.). Speak to a local lawyer for free consultation and start recording every single call that comes through-via literal recording or just writing it down, if it's on a cell phone your statements are more then enough proof they've violated your rights.

I asked how he got any of my information. He tried to verify with me a comcast Email that has been disconnected for about 5 years now.

He hung up on me, i called back, legally that should take you to an option to push 1 to be put on a do not call list, it did not. there's a 500.00 payable fine right there.

Called me today at Ontario Canada about switching to another phone company. They had the name of the previous onwer of my phone number.

I filed a complaint with the PA AG's office for Do Not Call list violation.  Evidently this is a sleazy collection agency (they think) trying to get information about a person to help their debt collection.  I have a number that belonged to 2 deadbeats and have been harassed by debt collector's since I had the number.  I could change the number, but I have eliminated most of the collectors and like the number.

I hope they nail this company.
