Got the call from these people at 5 a.m ended up waking up my newborn i will definitely be sending a complaint to the Attorney General for infraction in the Telemarketing Laws

Called cell at 2:59 am central time on Dec 23rd, 2014.

Received a call at 4:11 AM. phone rang once then they hung up. No Message. Blocked number.

From the pattern I'm seeing, I guess it's time I posted. I just got a call 5 minutes ago. Same story.

Called me at 4:02 am! Didn't leave a message.

Missed call on my cell; 4:45am. No message.

Was called at 4:26 AM.  Called the number back at 8:45 AM.  Got a voice mail indicating that I was calling Rewards Redemption and that I qualified for a $100 gift card from a site I recently visited. Press 1 to redeem the gift.  Press 2 to be placed on their do not call list.   I suspect this is a scam.  I pressed 2.
They are obviously running an illegal business by calling at hours that are not allowed by telemarketing laws.  A reverse phone look-up on whitepages.com could only identify the number as a Bandwidth SMSEnabled VoIP in Leonia, NJ.

Called my cell at 4:14 AM.  Only a handful of people have this number and it is on the DNC list.  I smell a scammer.  I blocked the number.

I was able to do some research. Its a reward redemption $100.00 rebate for providing your information. BIGTIME SCAM. I rcvd this call at 2:00 a.m .... Hmmmmm, that in itself is a sign of shady business

Crooks do not care about the Do Not Call list.  These people are most likely calling from foreign countries.  It doesn't matter where caller ID indicates that the call is coming from because they "clone" other numbers to make it look like the call is coming from inside the U.S.  DON'T answer these calls; don't answer any calls from numbers you don't recognize.  If they are ligitimate they'll leave a message.  Block the number immediately.

I got the call on the day after Christmas at 9:30 in the morning.  I called it back immediately and the woman who answered said that she was going to send me a $100 rebate card because I had recently visited an affiliated website.  At this point, I was overcome by the urge to use the restroom, so when I asked if I could place her on hold, she hung up.

So I called back and this time a man answered.  (Both spoke English with an Indo accent.) He said basically the same thing, only this time stated that I was to be mailed the rebate for having made a recent purchase online.  [These are the times I remember things like my sister having received a call from some computer hack claiming to be with MicroSoft and when she gave him the information he needed to "improve her computer's performance" succeeded in successfully hi-jacking her computer.]. When I asked him who the business was with whom I had made the purchase, he said he did not have that information as a protection of my privacy.  I gave him my date of birth when he asked for it then he said he was going to transfer me over to the billing section where I would have to pay a fee of $2.90 for shipping in order to obtain the voucher.  That is when I told him that I would call him back and hung up.  The End

P.S.: It was a "New Jersey" number.
