I got the call on the day after Christmas at 9:30 in the morning.  I called it back immediately and the woman who answered said that she was going to send me a $100 rebate card because I had recently visited an affiliated website.  At this point, I was overcome by the urge to use the restroom, so when I asked if I could place her on hold, she hung up.

So I called back and this time a man answered.  (Both spoke English with an Indo accent.) He said basically the same thing, only this time stated that I was to be mailed the rebate for having made a recent purchase online.  [These are the times I remember things like my sister having received a call from some computer hack claiming to be with MicroSoft and when she gave him the information he needed to "improve her computer's performance" succeeded in successfully hi-jacking her computer.]. When I asked him who the business was with whom I had made the purchase, he said he did not have that information as a protection of my privacy.  I gave him my date of birth when he asked for it then he said he was going to transfer me over to the billing section where I would have to pay a fee of $2.90 for shipping in order to obtain the voucher.  That is when I told him that I would call him back and hung up.  The End

P.S.: It was a "New Jersey" number.

Called today, 12/26/14, 11:12am. I did not answer, they did not leave message.

I got a call at 11: 00 am. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up. It only rang once.

GF received a call from this number at 3:19AM on Dec 23.  Do these people NOT realize there are actually TIME ZONES?????  Especially if they are scamming from say India.

Called me at 7:23 in the A.M.

Called 10:40am 12/29/14.  Hung up after I answered, didn't say a word.

Called at 8:07 am, rang once, i answered it they hung up. Looks like I'll be adding to call reject list.

Called my phone, it rang once.  No message received.

I got a call from 201-582-3575 from New Jersey they did not LM or call agian. I do not know anyone in New Jersey, after doing research i can be sure this is a scam. I blocked the #.

Received a call from this number at 8:45 pm  central.  Rang once or twice and hung up.  By chance,  has anyone dealt with 1-800-FLOWERS  recently? I have a new son and received some flowers from them today. The message only said, " congratulations"  so I called them to find out who sent them. The women who answered said she can't disclose that information without their permission,  she put me on hold and tried calling them. They didn't answer so she said they would call me back when they hear back.  Just a thought as it is the holidays so people may be getting flowers.

Called at 6:45 AM. Hung up.

I just received a call from this number...it rang once and I didn't answer.  After reading comments, I blocked the number.  So annoying!

Received a call on my DNC cell phone that only a few people have the number for.  Since I do not answer phone from numbers I do not recognize, I immediately blocked it.  Glad I did after reading these reviews, it appears this is definitely another of the many scams out in today's world!!!

This number just called me a minute ago. Only rang once and didn't leave a message. I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. Scam-a-lama-ding-dong.

Called at 11:10am today, rang 2-3 times, then they hung up. Caller ID says "Leonia, NJ."  Very likely scam.  If calls repeat or they call at odd hours, they'll win a free six months on my Block List...

At 8:15 a.m., my unlisted cell rang showing this no.
I don't answer calls from unknown nos.  It only rang once, then stopped.  It's on my blocked list now. Thanks to all for the heads-up.

Called at 10:00 am and didn't leave message.  Blocked ... buh-bye!

Got the call @ 9:50am.
We have had the 201 area code blocked for nearly 1 year.
Our phones do not ring when a blocked call comes in - not even once!
Please purchase a call blocking phone or a device that can block entire area codes.
When an area code is blocked, potentially you block 6,000,000 - 8,000,000 phone numbers.
They can change phone numbers but they cant get through!

They just called again @ 12:27pm.  Yep, they are still blocked - forever!!!  Two calls in one day!!!
