The first time they called, I said hello and got no response so i hung up. About 10 minutes later, they called again and this time after saying hello I waited.  It took the representative about 20 seconds to say something, and finally stated, "This is a call about a government grant."  Sounded like a collection agency to me. I stated that he had the wrong number, and he then asked who he was speaking to along with something else. It was hard to understand him as he had a very thick accent and there was a lot of talking in his background!  On further investigation, I found the area code exchange, 201-740, is from Oradell, New Jersey, Bergen County.

Called me two times already on 10/7, no message.

10/7 - hung up on me when I picked up the first time, called me at least 5 times already today, no message

I received a call from 201-740-0032 and there was no answer when I picked up.

i get calls all of the time - no one talks i wish they would stop.

STOP CALLING!! I'm getting really annoyed with random numbers calling and no one being there when I pick up. If it's a valid call, that's fine, but if they're not even going to talk then they shouldn't bother calling.

This number calls my cell phone 6 times a day. Very irritating but no one
there when you answer.  I registered my number with the do not call list.
I would love to find out the business that uses this number.....

I wish this person stops calling me he call 5 to 7 times a day I have told this person to stop calling it has been 3weeks and they still call several times a day...

I'm getting calls from this number daily, several times a day. I ignore the calls now, however was getting no responses when answering.  Was getting  calls from another 201 number talking about government grants.  But now it is this number. When I finally spoke to the individual from the first 201 number I asked that I be removed from their list, but I was told by the caller (with a thick accent as well) that my number could not be removed unless I purchased the product.  I was furious and again asked that it be removed to no avail.  I believe the calls came when I did inquire about free government grant information online, but once I saw there was cost for shipping I opted not to get the information but had already given my contact information. So because I initially inquired I may be stuck with the calls.  However, I would think that since I requested to be removed they should comply.  Another time when answering they asked it I was over the age of 18 and I replied no, they apologized and hung up.  I did not get the call for a few days.  But the calls have begun again.

they called me asking if i would like to recieve information about a free grant, i told them that i would like to know about the types available then they said that there going to send a package at my expence, i asked the caller to remove my number from there list and they said no, so i hung up, since then they call several times a day, and i'm on a cellular phone, does anyone know if we can get these peoples numbers disconnected? or if i suld contact the Federal Beuro of Investigations Fraud devision to report these fradulant calls that are asking about credit card information..

I MIRROR ALL THE REST.i GET 6 CALLS A DAY AND ALWAYS NO ANSWER ON THE OTHER END,iT'S VERY ANNOYING AND i'D LIKE IT TO STOP.i'D LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS LEGAL ACTION TO BE TAKEN,OR,IF THERE'S AN AGECY TO WHICH WE CAN REPORT IT.

I receive a call from 201-740-0032 every hour or so starting between 9am and 5pm. The call typically terminates before i can reach it, when i do answer it they hang up.

They call every hour for past 3 weeks.

please take me off the list they keep calling and no anwser when i pick up I don't know how they got my # please stop

Those crazy people still called me 3 times everyday even I told them don't call me again at the first time they called me.

I keeping on receiving the different calls from area code 201 several times
a day.  I don't know how to stop them.  Finally, I pay tel co $2/month
to reject those craze calls.
