This number started calling me on 10/21/08 around 8am and has been calling back to back every 5 mins for an hour now. What number is this? Also another number similar to this has been calling my phone back to back 201-425-4980. I want this to stop. No one is on the other end and when you try and call the number, it is busy.

I have been called by this number 50 times today. It started at 8:16 this morning and it is 5:27 now. Several times today they would call every 2 minutes for like half an hour then it would slow down. Sometimes my phone would ring only once and then they would hang up. Since i started typing this i have gotten 4 calls from them. No message has been left.
    This needs to stop.

Keep calling my cell phone asking for someone. I tell them they have the wrong number. Then they start talking about free money from the government. At least that's what I think they said. Very heavy accent. Told them the only thing I was interested in was that they would stop calling me. He apologized and hung up.

I think it may be solicitors for free government grants.  I have received about 15 calls today.  My machine picks up.  Then every ten minutes they call back.

Don't give credit card number/personal information. Request a DNC.  They may be wanted to sell a booklet on how you can apply for gov't grants OR they might request a deposit to file a grant for you. Don't.

    IRATE!
I applied for a grant and was forced to give my number to move to the next page. When doing so they have annoyed me to death with calling at least 10-15 times a day! This is a scam from another Country trying to get credit card info and REMEMBER, other countries don't have to comply with our laws here in the USA! This alone should be illegal and the outsourcing of our private information from ANY credit card or any agency doing business here shouldn't indulge our private info to even collect a debt! We have gotten a death threat from this very type of activity. I hope how soon the government sees that when they allow OUR companies to out source our information they are putting us in danger and we haven't given anyone that right! PERIOD! So the best I can tell you on this number (201-740-0032) is to BLOCK IT through your phone company! If that doesn't work, try contacting the proper authority where you live by means of letter telling them that this scam is going on and they shouldn't give our information to anyone outside of here. They do it and its wrong. That alone allows other Countries to see that nothing can be done with them when they don't follow our law!

these people think that no one can track them back.wrong answer.i also checked out a website that offered government grants, but did not give them a credit card number.however they already had my phone number from the ist page when i didn't complete the application.sounds to me like they have some sort of twisted mind to continue calling after being rejected.however, the calls that i keep getting day and night wonn't go on much longer.i will be in oradell,va.pretty soon.

    annoyed cell customer
I have received numerous calls from this number: 1-201-740-0032.  If I answer no one responds, if I call the # back a recorded message says the # is not in service.  How can this be if they just called from this #?  This is harrassment!

They have been calling everyday, at least 10 times a day, for the last two weeks. I finally picked it up yesterday and it took maybe 5 seconds for someone with a very thick accent to ask for my husband. I was totally beside myself and told them that they were harrassing us, that I had reported them and they had absolutely nothing to sell that I wanted to buy so they had better stop calling. I said it EXTREMELY forceful so I hope it got through to them. We'll see what happens today.

Same story, as above. I've been getting these annoying calls repeatedly for the past two days. Like many of you, I never answer a number that I'm not familiar with. So, how about WE ALL get back this person and make their freaking day, there's a website I'd like to introduce each of you to, that I'm sure will make your day, the site is called www.spoofcard.com. go there and put in there number or a number you think they may answer like something official, say the lottery or anything that you think they will pick up the phone to, have spoofcard call it, and the joke is on them, LMAO. Check it out
