Just received unsolicited text from this number, did not open, went straight to Google and here I am posting about it

Lol same. Glad to have websites like these.

States it's from Uber (in my experience, verification codes from other companies do not come from typical phone numbers, it's usually a 5 digit number) + I don't even use Uber, I blocked it immediately.

Same as the others, appearing to be an Uber Text Scam. I didn't reply.

Same message.  Blocked it.

Same as above - two texts claiming to be Uber. Went in to my Uber account t on a separate device and changed my password to be safe, but it did not appear to have been accessed.

Received this message from uber, block and report

“Your Uber code is ####. Never share this code.” No link in the text.  Blocked and changed Uber password.

Figured it was a scam but when I set up two factor authentication on the app and had a text sent to me, it was from the same number. Confused

 Unwanted Text Messages

Forward unwanted text messages to 7726 so that carriers will block them. Some carriers do not accept that code and if that is the case then contact your carrier about how to block unwanted text messages, however 7726 is accepted in the US, Canada, and Great Britain. Also, never, ever click on a link in a text message as it will probably install something nasty to your phone that you really will not want to deal with and never, ever respond to one because lets them know that they have a good number with someone on the other end.  It will result in more calls and texts.

Also got it and replied “I wish to report FRAUD.” Didn’t get a reply buy I don’t think I should block it if it’s really Ubers 2-step authorization. Can anyone confirm the number IS from Uber but someone is trying to hack my account?

Uber scam text. Hope they don't have my cc info.  "Your uber code is xxxx. Never share this code."

Text message giving me an UBER code #. I don't have an UBER account.

This trash called me at 11:15 tonight and woke me up. Now blocked.

"Your Uber code is xxxx. Never share this code."

I have two-step authentication enabled, so it didn't worry me too much, but still I changed my password. I tried calling the line and it's busy.
