Just got texts from this number

I got a text from this number with a Uber code I don't even have Uber

Same thing everyone else got, number was 5590, just to go against the "never share this"

Same Uber code text.  I'm going with scam.
Block. Delete.

I received about 27 text messages from this phone number today.  Asking me to keep the number safe and to text STOP to unsubscribe.  Don't have UBER APP. I have never used UBER. So SICK and tired of these scum bag scammers.  Get a real job

My text msg says exactly this

“ McDonald's® (2424 MAHOGANY WAY) - RDI (For Customer Support Call +1-866-987-####) has set up a delivery through Uber. Track your delivery:
https://y.uber.com/##### Reply
STOP 1 to stop Transactional SMS, or
STOP ALL to stop all SMS”

I didn’t call or click on the link

And I receive another text that says

“It's on the way! Your courier
VICTORIANO C. has your order and will arrive in about 6 minutes. You can contact them at +1415231####”

I don’t even use Uber, nice try suckers.

I couldn't go to the actual site but from what you put up that is the official Uber website since 1995.  My guess is that they simply dialed a wrong number.

(201) 771-8436 Is a landline number that sends scam texts.

Who's calling me

Do not respond to this number OR the number in the text. My message said “ It's on the way! Your courier MEGAN B. has your order and will arrive in about 12 minutes. You can contact them at +17082602976”

Bogus Uber Pro number.  Scammer got $700 from me.

I was looking on my phone and I saw that I just got an Uber ride with the text code that is needed when you get in the car and I didn't make the Uber ride. I think I'm going to have to go ahead and delete all my information off Uber cuz this has been continually happening. Uber has horrible internet security
