I received a very lengthy email that came thru from "Attorney General" (after some digging the actual email address is m.davis.law.157@hotmail.com)  It is all signed from "state attorney general, Steve Parks" (I googled him and no such person exists and I doubt the federal government would be e-mailing me from a hotmail account). The email is basically saying that this is my final notice and my social security number is being put on hold by the US Federal Government and they are pressing charges against me for violating federal banking regulations and check fraud.  If I do not contact them within 24 hours at this phone number (202-241-2115, which happens to be registered to a company called Ymax Communications Corp) then I am going to be sued for $14,121.15 + loan amounts, interest, and attorney's fee's.  There are also attachments to the email titled "warrant copy"  that I will not be opening.   At the bottom is all kinds of fine print talking about confidentiality and communication privacy acts.  It is made to look pretty real and pretty scary, you have to dig a little to find the actual email address and information.  You have to google the number and the name of the supposed attorney to find they are fake.  If your not careful and you don't know what to look for you could easily get hacked or scammed here.  BE CAREFUL.

Thanks so much for that info. I called and got Vmail too with the same msg. I almost emailed a response. But started to realize I would've received a letter first. Then maybe a phone call.

I got the same email only they are goving me 3 days to contact them. Atty Steve Parks. I  get so tired of getting garbage like this.

I just got ano email from Steve Parks with phone # 202-241-2115 email address : steveparksusa.lawfirm001@gmail.com. The email states that the FTC is pressing 3 serious allegations and attached to the email is a warrant for my arrest if I do not contact him within 2 days. I'm so glad I googled the name and phone number listed on the emaileft, which lead me here.

03-23-2017 I just received an email from Steve Parks with phone #202-241-2115. email address: Attorney General <attorneygeneral.usa@hotmail.com> The email states that I will be prosecuted in the courthouse in 3 days & had a PDF attached for my arrest. I had 24 hours to respond. What is hillarious about this is I work for a county! I wish I could get this guy somehow......Google is fantastic for this kind of stuff!

Got a email very similar and also had a warrant for my arrest attached to it. Glad I googled this guy and number. I thought someone took out a loan in my name!

I received the same message. What tipped me off was the misuse of the English language. Call on (202)506-8086 and listed this document. Do not fall for this. I sent an email back stating, if these emails do not stop you will be the one arrested.

I just got the exact same email with phone number and an attachment saying it was a warrant for collateral check fraud, violation of federal banking laws, and theft by deception, supposedly from the Attorney General Signed from Steve Parks listing the phone number of 202-241-2115.
