- KimAn IRS agent, Julie Smith suggested I return her call. This is the THIRD message I received from her over the past month! "Julie" stated that "The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive . My number is 202-241-9749. I repeat it's 202-241-9749. Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action against you. Goodbye and take care."
Of course I did NOT call her back from my home number. I called and left a message at the above stated number from my work number to NOT call me anymore and to send me a letter in the mail instead. Of course I did NOT leave my name or my address. I told them I was on the National Do NOT call registry so I'm not sure how they got my number or why they are harassing me. I'm a CPA who pays ALL of my taxes, every year on time!- Caller: IRS

Don't ignore this message. Return call before action is taken against you - Jeff RybickiWe received a phone call this morning on our landline from "Officer Julie Smith, of the IRS with a time-sensitive issue." It was a recorded voice and the phone number left to call back was 415-506-1667. We did attempt to return the call in order to investigate our suspicions. There was no answer.
