GOT A CALL AT 4:00PM, I DIDN'T RECOQNIZE THE NUMBER SO I DIDN'T ANSWER. CALLER ID COULD BE SPOOF. 202-360-4697 WASH DC CALL.

I answered and they never said anything.  I waited on the line about 20 seconds, repeatedly saying, "Hello...."  

Now, after finding this website, the comments, the subject matter of the survey, it all seems to make sense.  All of my representatives, through no fault of my own, are Demoncrats.

If they got my # from voter registration and noted I'm a Republican, they don't want my opinion on job creation issues, because they get so much money from Unions who hate Wal-Mart, but they need to pad their numbers and show they 'objectively' called constituents.  Yeah, right.  I bet Acorn is running this phone campaign.  [***], all of them.  Obama down to Acorn and all the Demoncrat majority, and those from my districts.

Left a really obnoxious voicemail.  I have a 312 phone number.  I am wondering if maybe this is associated with the Tribune or another newspaper I subscribe to, since they have my phone number & address, since others with  non-Chicago phone numbers are saying they were called too.

Just got a call from this number on my unlisted cell phone number that's on the "DO NOT CALL" list, and since I don't pick up on calls from numbers I don't know, I didn't answer this one, and then they didn't leave a message.

I live in Chicago too, like others, and I have an 847 area code.

I don't think so, because the Tribune Company doesn't have my number...

you have absolutely no idea who sent it, you didn't get any information from it, and so you've decided to turn it into an opportunity to go on a political hate rant?

Just received a call from 202-360-4697. I have a 773 number and my number is on the "Do Not Call" list. No message was left. :(


Looks like they are making a lot of calls right now.

I just got this call-did try to call back (family member recently moved to DC) and got an automated "Please dial an extension number"

Then I googled the # and got this forum-nice to find out, so I won't answer if they call again.

Same call...just got it at 7/28/09 at 4:47 CST...and also, to my cell.

Just got the call ~7 mins ago... live in chicago but have WI area code -- I think I'm on the DNC list.  Didn't answer.

how did they get my number?   it's an 917 area code, even though I live in chicago.   i'm pissed.
