caller ID says AVC, I don't recognize the number so I don't answer. They never leave a message but the calls are very annoying, sometimes as many as two or three times a day, every day.

I keep getting these calls too. They never leave a message and I don't answer either. My caller ID says AVC - but the number is 202-461-3446 .....  if anybody knows how to stop them, please let us know.

They continue to call every day; sometimes more than once a day (many times more than once a day)....we do not answer because it is not in our area, and it is party/persons unknown to us; sure they are soliciting money for something, and I feel it is completely illegitimate....I turned my phone into the govt. do not call list, and still the likes of this continue to call...

Thank you for the info, I get this call almost daily and do not pick up, but when my fax is on I hear a woman call me by name before the fax tone starts...

They call pretty frequently..its getting to the point where they call almost every night. Caller ID says "Campaign Center". When I answer, no one responds and they hang up. VERY annoying.

I Called the number, said they were from fire fighters assistance fund.
202 is a Washington DC area code.  A young man answered.

They have called me several times each time with a different caller id number today it was tcc. How could they be legit if everytime there's a different caller name ?? I never answer ! cleveland Ohio

Today they are the "VETS".....oh sure, and they help vets and cops wounded in action.  Both of those organizations have medical insurance....so.....    My advice, if you want to donate, donate to the locals where you know the money does goes to the police, or vets, or to help a child with cancer.   If you have caller ID....if you don't recognize the number, don't answer, if important, they'll leave a msg.
If they keep calling day after day....get an air horn and blow it in their ear.  Seems when you do that, they do remove your number from their list!!

I have told them countless times that my husband works nights and calls during the day are completely disruptive and that we are not and cannot donate to thier cause.  They are relentless and ring sometimes 3 times in one hour

I have been getting these calls also under the name  "RPOA" very anoying and they are persistant, but I like the idea of th bull horn, might try that!! I also am on the "do not call" list, what a hoax that is, I get calls all times of the day and night!! from all kinds of Telemarketers..I thougt that Do NOt Call menant NO calls would come in?? guess not huh??

Calls at least twice a day. Believe it is someone calling for donations to the Reserve Police Officers Assn.

We've received this call several time a day.  It appears on our caller id as "RPOA".  Never answered & they never leave a message.  I don't want anything to do with a DC area code!

This number has been calling everyday (often twice a day) for last couple weeks I think.  Just got caller ID so know for sure the last week RPOA called but have gotten hangups for weeks when answering machine goes off.  I work at home so this is very annoying.  I wonder if this number can be reported to local phone company to have it blocked?

Received a call from RPOD, very rude, I am the wrong person for them to call. I am a security enforcement Officer (supervisor) and if they call me again it will be bad news for them.

Caller I.D. says "bcrf"...certainly not cops. I assume a fund raiser for something...I won't give half of what I give to telemarketers at any rate.
