??? So the U.S. government hires non-English speaking people to call from the "No Call List" and tell U.S. citizens they have a $10,100.00 free grant money ...not, so stupid...I start telling this person how someone applies for a grant...they hang up. . .lol

These low life losers really need to get a life and a real job so they don't have the steal the few pennies I have to my name. Not even joking I hope they read these comments and I hope they get run over by a bus or something I mean come on!!! Sorry if that's a lil graphic but I'm sick of getting calls 9 10 times a day all day everyday and it's not just from this number either and it's always the same people. I played along one day just for giggles and I gave them fake info except for my name of course because they already had that. They asked for bank info, I gave them a really old prepaid card I had from way back in high school that was dead and deactivated. As soon as I gave them the deactivated card number and stuff that goes with it they (there were other people I could hear in the background) wooped in the background like kids at a candy store and said you stupid b**ch thanks for your info (that's about what they said but it was a while ago and can't remember exactly). I started to giggle on the phone and the women got all pissy with me and demanded to know what I was laughing about. I told her that I gave her a deactivated card number and such and boy did that make her so mad it made my worst days look like kittens playing in the sun! It was sooo funny she was screaming at me and everything! Called me every name under the sun and hung up finally. Then after that I blocked the number till the next one called with a different number. I get these calls all the time and I mess with them. I tell them that I'm dead or that I'm doing this or that. I told them one time that I was in the middle of robbing a bank can I call back? They hang up everytime. Since they call from so many different number and so many times and I can't block them all (and I do not want to change my nu,ber) I mess with them, you have to find humor in it somehow. I dare everyone to try it sometime. I'm not even joking, make them feel stupid for what they're doing. :D

Answered the phone at my office; heard dead air, then lots of noise like it was a call center. Hung up. Thanks for the info on these losers.

This guy called me about the grant thing everyone else is talking about and I hung up. The third call he threatened: "I will call you everyday. I will call you 100 times."

You have been selected to receive $10,200.00 which is a "Once In A Lifetime Grant" given by the Government. There are a few questions that needs to be answered to why you are receiving this grant. ( You have applied for a loan in the past, You pay your bills on time, You have not filed Bankruptcy in the last 10years and you are a U.S. Citizen). After those question was answered the gentleman asked if I had a bank account or per paid debit card. I told him that I didn't he then said that they can Western Union the funds within 45 minutes. He gave me a Claims number and a Phone number to call 206-317-1435 to confirm that I was entitled to the funds in question. Once I called the number the lady asked for the claims number, name and said that you have selected to receive funds through western union transaction fee is $210 that you would need to be paid before transferring funds. How would you like to pay for this debit or credit. Once I told her that I would need to call back with a per-paid debit card so they can wire the funds she stated that's the only way you do not have to pay a fee.

I got several calls from this number and when I called back it would not go through. I work as loss prevention supervision and know fraud and this is a fraud scheme door not provide them info

Just got a call today from this number. The guy sounded Indian and claimed I am eligible for a grant worth $10,200 that can be used for anything that isn't illegal. There would be no strings attached and I didn't owe the money back. I was about to hang up when I remembered a news article on Facebook saying these calls should be reported to the police. So I stayed on the line. There's three ways to get the money, give bank info, credit card info or western union. If I use western union they would charge a small processing fee. I said ok do that, this way I could get all the info to report. They claimed they were calling from the treasury department, gave me a claim number and a phone number to verify. As soon as I hung up, I called the police department and left a voicemail containing all information. What I didn't say on the phone to this caller is the very reason I don't believe it: they used my husbands last name, a name I didn't change with social security.

Called me saying she was from the US government and asked for me. When I asked how can I help you she hung up.

I have asked to be taken off the call list yet they continue to call. This is a D.C. area code yet a male with an Indian accent answers and refuses. I'm going to register my same number on the no call list, but I'm very sick of this.

Got call this morning.  Same M.O.  He knew my address and E-Mail Address. Treasury Dept. would not know my E-Mail.  Told him I have new E-Mail urakweer.aol.com.  Dumb foreigner (believe South Asian) did not pick-up on it.  Finally told him off.

I got a call from this number today the lady very politely said "i am calling you from the treasury department from Washington DC, the government" i said "really" she said "you don't believe me why did you say really like that" i said "no i don't, what do you want" then she began to tell me that" all the immigrants like me need to get out and that this was the government telling me to get out"
I lost it since i am a citizen and my father was a veteran who just passed away at the age of 94, i lost it i began to tell her that i was more of a citizen than she was plus i could barely understand her Jamaican accent, it was kind of nice to lay her but out after such a stressful  day...
These people are stupid and definitely immigrants themselves illegal immigrants because cording to her ignorant behind that is what she assume i was because of my Hispanic accent.

Called saying something about a free grant! I know its a scam, it's all over the news here that it is a SCAM!

Unwanted calls

Got a call asking for Dawn Martinez, told the guy I disn't know her and he said he knew it was Dawn. Then he said "I love you, okay bye." And he's called every day for a week, usually more than oncenter a day. Creepy as hell.

They have called a few different times in the past week and I have asked them to remove my number.  Today I told them wrong number and she yelled "Liar" in the phone :)  Must be a legit company huh??
