Received a voice mail though my YouMail system from phone number "1911" The automated male voice threatened me, told me they had my identity and social security number but needed more information. If i did not call back within hours law enforcement would be arriving for me. The message claimed to have come from the State Attorney general's Office. The message was a bit muffled and hard to understand but gave me a bit of a scare, nonetheless. Did some searching on the web and found others had reported this as a scam. I never called back and reported the message to YouMail as threatening and a scam. Spoiler: I was never arrested. :) DON'T RESPOND, DON'T CALL BACK, DON'T GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF.

Report the Calls to the real IRS here:

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I received a phone call from 202-470-0872 saying they have been trying to reach me and that they are filing a lawsuit against me. Call 202-470-0872.  This call is Official Final notice  from IRS / Internal Revenue Services. They asked me to call them immediately .
Can't you put them out of business???

I got an email saying this is from financial crimes network saying I needed to respond within four hours otherwise I would have a lawsuit packet filed against me and they would contact my job and if I payed 960.00 today if not I would be responsible for 6300. If I went to court for some cash America payday loan I never had there before I did have a different one that I have payed back three different  companies because they use scare tactics

I got the same phone call today saying that there was a warrant out for my arrest and I had 4 hours to call the Attorney General or they will come to my house and take me out in handcuffs.  I called the attorney general and said it was a scam plus went to my local police department just to let them know. They checked and I have no warrants! Some people are just scumbags!!!! They called me with the emergency 911 number!

They told me that I have a lawsuit against me and if I don't not call them back that I'll get arrested at my house or job, except the number read +911 and they said to call back 202-470-6070

I also just received a call that had 911 caller ID saying there was a lawsuit against me and I had to call within 45 minutes or they would take me to jail.  I didn't write down the entire phone number but got the area code 202 so I can see based on the other posts that it is a scam.  Thank goodness that people report this!

I received fake call 911 displayed stating that law case filed for me and police officer will come to my door for arrest. FBI is behind me lol .  He was  having fake american ascent keen in knowing my address, who all stay with me etc. when i googled the number i got this page then i said i will go to local police station and handover my self . Then, he started abusing me saying <MF> [***] you. I hung up immediately.

Don't blame anything or anyone....

My husband just got one of these calls from 202-629-9309.  It also mentioned criminal charges "in his name" and the IRS.

voicemail supposedly final call from IRS that it their Final Notice that a lawsuit had been filed against me and to call 202-697-9296.  SCAM CALL - IRS never calls and sends a letter or postcard.  Have received numerous calls from various Washington DC numbers and one from a pay phone!!!

Call them back a hundred times.They go insane when you do this. Listen to all the evil that comes out of them, when you do  this.

Keep calling them back till they go crazy a little more.

I got call from 8304630302. Supposedly from the attorney General. He told me I was going to get arrested in 30 minutes. He stated that there was a van waiting for me tomorrow and hung up.

Read the other posts.  Total scam.  Originates in India and Pakistan.  Ignore the calls and block them.

caller ID says "voice network" from telephone 267-414-1474. Sound is crackly , bad signal  type.

New numbers they are using 202-239-1646 & 206-855-6576 both from Washington.
