I received a call from this number and when I called back I was threatened with jail time and the seizing of my property in and hour and a half.  This was at 5:13pm on Monday, July 7, 2014.  I  told the girl from India on the line that it was a scam and hung up.  They called me back but I didn't answer as I was driving.  When I tried to return the call there was no answer.

Over the past month I've  received several calls from this number, claiming to be IRS,   all of which have gone to my voice mail.   Called the number back this last time and talked with someone who has a very thick accent.  He asked my phone no. and name.  Gave him a phoney name but correct phone no.  Said he wanted to speak with  (gave my correct name) and said that "I" should call him back as soon as possible because "I"  had a very serious IRS problem!   I asked why they wanted to speak with "me" and he said it is none of my business and that I needed to make sure that "I" was given the message to call back.  I then said "what if I am  (gave my correct name), and he told me to "go f*ck myself".   Told him better me than him and to stop "f*cking around with me!"   He used the "F" word a couple more times and I slammed the receiver in his ear!

This is part of a Pakistani run callcenter IRS scam (there are also Indian based IRS scams, both call centers and "self employed"

Received a call and the person on the other end of the phone said that the IRS and police will be at my door tomorrow to arrest me for 5 years and house arrest for three. I spoke to one person who said I could speak to a supervisor and beg him to let me go free without ceasing my property or arresting me. She chastised me saying I was trying to leave the country and will be punished. She transferred me to another person with a thick accent and as I was speaking to him I googled the number. I saw that this was a scam and called him out. He hung up on me. I called back and asked to be removed from the list. The same Indian woman answered every time. She said, "if you think this is a scam then stop calling" Pretty sure that's not the IRS. I blocked the # on my cell and hope they get busted. Why cant people just get real jobs?

This caller Michael Johnson claiming to be an IRS agent from 202-506-9108 is indeed a scam!!! I got a call as well and did talk to the fool...I got as much information as I could and then turned around and contacted the IRS. This is a scam; the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) does not have anything to do with the individuals that are impersonating IRS employees.  The IRS does not contact taxpayers via telephone demanding payment and/or threatening to arrest taxpayers.  Do not provide any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) or money to these individuals.  If you have suffered a financial loss or provided the caller with your PII please email or fax (202) 927-7018 your receipts, a brief summary of the incident and any other supporting documents that you have.  Thank you for reporting this information.

If you look at my reply to another post you can see the complete response from the IRS...but here is a number you can call to report the incident...Please do not give any personal information as this is a SCAM!!!!!!!

Got same call to voice mail. Did star 69 and confirmed it came from 202-506-9108. Muffled voice claimed to be IRS blah blah blah.

I know better than to beilieve these scammers. I don't use my cell for things so this goes to show that Netro either cells your number or someone has tapped into their system. The IRS would send a letter not call a cell phone. I also received a call from Costco stating there is a recall on chicken, well that happened months ago and Costco would not call, there would be notice at the store and on the news. So people please stop believing these people who try to use scare tactics. Please also advise our seniors and parents, grandparents who have limited english as well. They seem to Prey on folks who would pay what they want.

Received a treatening call from (202)506-9108 ; it is fraud/spam

Got a call this morning starting that they were going to download my file and sieze all my property within a half hour including my house and all assets. ... very thick accent very frustrated this is a terrible scam. . And needs to stop!
