Caller called and said I had $8000. coming to me from the Government and wanted personal information. I asked his name and company name informing him I thought it was a scam. His said his Company Name was "Mother F**ker" and I hung up on him. Don't know if that helps or not but did get the number.

I had  a scam problem wit this number ...don't trust it

Received a phone call from 202-517-1666 stating they were from the U.S. Treasury and I had $9,000 they were authorized to send me.  I told them I was on the Federal DNC list and they hung up.  I've blocked their calls via my phone provider, but now they're using a different number. In the past, I've tried requesting supervisors, company name, etc. and the caller keeps insisting they're "from Federal Government."  The more you press the more rude the caller becomes. Nothing it seems is able to stop their harassment.  I'm at my wits end and have absolutely no clue how to get my number deleted from their records, especially since it seems they've no regards for the Federal DNC list.

The people have called me several times today but every time I answer the phone, they don't say nothing..

Caller said I had 25,000 dollars I said who is this and they said F___ You and hung up

Same caller called twice once at 9:46 AM then again at 11:44 AM said I had $25,000 I said who is this and they hung up saying F___ you.

People are calling and we are saying who is this and they say this is Austin McKinney whos this and we dont know who it is they called ten times today.

says he is from treasury dept, when I would not give out information said he will hunt me down and bomb my house

They keep calling everyday saying their US treasury. Then in same call say they r US census. They had our information then hung up when questioned

Here it is Thanksgiving and these idiots have been calling my home ALL morning! Female caller informed to STOP calling me since here in America it's a holiday and she said she's aware, so again informed her to stop or I would contact my local police department. Now getting calls from 202-517-16666 Washington, DC either no one on other end and now some idiot stating I've been approved for a Federal Grant in the amount of $6700. I told him to stop calling my home and that I was contacting the police department who'd be calling him back!! Total scam DO NOT play into this!!

called and said the same thong or nothing.  But my caller ID said it was from Washing D.C. They didn't say anything this time and when I tried to call it back the message said the network was busy and to try may call again later

202-517-1666 just called me at 1:47PM on Thanksgiving. Didn't answer cause I didn't recognize the number. Just don't answer or if you do, don't give them any sarcasm, If you do they will call you all the more because you ticked them off and they are trying to get back at you. Not worth the grief.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!  This number has been calling my phone for 2 days now, finally answered and he gave me the same shpeal about the free 9000 from the treasury. I started to ask if I could get a call back in 15 minutes so I could make sure this was not a scam, the guy kept reverting to the 9000 i could have free and clear From the government.  The guy did not want me to look up this number or get me off the phone, wouldn't tell me where he was calling from, just trying to get my bank account information.

This phycho won't stop calling me from many different Washington dc based area codes. He called 3 times yesterday on thanksgiving and twice today. He told us that his brother is osama bin ladin and was very crazy and threatening. Total psycho scammer. Obviously don't give him any kind of personal info.
