I got a series of short beeps. What does that mean?

My phone also gives the noise of a fax!  What is that,?  Why is that?   Is my phone tapped? How do we know its the police,  identity thieves also tap phones for personnel information right?

I agree with you I got know reason to hide, but found out I am in contact with someone that does. That's them not me so why should I be punished to? My phone is messed up and I got nothing to do with it.

That same stuff and number has been going on with my phone. I'm almost about to not even have one. Lol go back to righting letters.

Idk i called it...it just rang several times and i got a recording saying the # was "marked as private"...hmmm

I only hear a clicking noise aftwr a  few seconds no beeps echo or static just one click, does that mean im being tapped?

The area code 202 has often been linked with tricks, and considering there's seven pages worth of reports, it's probably a number to let your phone ring on. No kind of answer if you're able, equals nothing for pests.

I heard a kinda long beep & then it sounded like somebody hung up ..

I had the same call and a text message sending Me to a website

I called that 202###-###4 number. I heard nothing but when I hung up it called me back. It took several times before I could get it to stop calling me back. And yes it was just dead air every time I tried to answer.
