I just received this call and i spoke with a man named Jake Harley! I hope this helps.

Think the call was a scam.

SCAM States they are US GOVT. and they want to give you grant money. Total Scam, the people speak with a heavy accent

Received a t/c stating US GOVT.  HEAVY ACCENT -could not understand- other then US Govt.  Loud Background Noise.  Hung up when I asked for further info.

He said I got selected for a $9,000 grant from the United States. Then he said, I bet you're wondering why you got selected. I said "Nope." and he hung up.....lol

Just got a call from this number, the man with an accent called me by name and said he was from the US. Gov. But the call got disconnected once I asked why he was calling.

The guy called me and knew my information how i have no idea.

Got a call, ask who I was speaking to, he said, "Erik".  I said, "Erik with who?", he said "Government Grant Department", had a strong Indian accent.  I told him I didn't need any scams today, and hung up.  This is the second time today they called.

Called said they were goverment housing program.tried calling back not a working number

This is a shameful scam. Whomever is over this shady deal needs jail time along with all of their helpers to get people's hard earned money!

Gov't grant program giving me 9,000 dollars.

This man called my business line.  When I answered in the company greeting I could tell he was caught off guard.  No reply.  Again gave the greeting asking if he would like to schedule an appointment. His accent was heavy but I was able to understand he was wanting to book  a reservation.  I asked him to repeat himself, then he said he's is looking for a restaurant. Told him we are a professional cleaning company. Then he asked what that means, so I explained what we do. He stammered, went quiet, hung up.  Scammer must have been new.  Caller ID read: Dir Assist DC.  On the other side of the country for me.

Told me they were IRS and filing a lawsuit

Received a call from a man stating he was from the US government and could give me $9000 in grants. He claimed that his name was David Miller. Heavy accent!! When I told him it was a scam he got angry and stated he would be dealing with me.

This number has called my house about ten times today. After reading the comments I'll be sure to be careful!

Keeps calling me wanting personal information

I received one call from this number and was left a freaky voicemail. Started with silence n ended with an eerie sounding "goodbye" 5 secs in. Then received multiple voicemail all with the same ominous ending.... However the last few were all unavailable... Weird

Do not believe this stupid guy who tried to convince you about $9000 it is not true and tell him that his contact number was reported to dc police .

Caller said he was with government agency, obvious indian/iranian accent. He also called my business which sells natural beard dye and hair dye. He confirmed my address and name, then proceeded to tell me since I had no criminal record I was chosen for 9000 on grant.
I went along with it and he gave me a 5 digit pin to call back immediately to his supervisor to have the funds sent. I am sure this is when they try and get your back account number and social. The number he gave me to call was 315-636-0011. He identified his self (and I laughed) John Morrison. I was wow? John with an Indian accent? Please tell me people are not falling for this!
