I got a call from them also... They didn't leave a message.. I called them back and got a voice mail... I didn't catch the name but I did catch "Real Estate".

There was a message on my phone from this number today but it was totally garbled and impossible to understand. It sounded like a recording.

Who ever it was hung up when they heard my answering machine. Other websites indicate this number is/was being used by one of the IRS scams.

Keeps calling, never leaves message

Called a couple of times,  A male voice says:  "Hello, (my first name)" in response to my answering machine, there is then a pause and a hang up.  Clearly not a legitimate business individual since no message, nor any business is mentioned.  One more time and they get reported to the FCC DNC registry.  Hope they get enough other reports that they have a hefty fine.

Calls repeatedly, "hello Steve" then disconnects.

Just calls and hangs up. Never says anything.

Even though I have the 202  Area code blocked this number showed up on my call blocker and on my TV screen.  Today is Christmas eve. Why would anybody in their right minds call on Christmas Eve?

Both criminals and non Christians don't recognize Christmas.

Another scumbag turdbrain calling to disturb everyone. Such a nuisance... Just another fartbrain in the capitol city.

Fund raising.  They are a legitimate fundraiser for multiple charities and PACs.  They aren't limited by the Do Not Call Registry.

If that is what they are doing, then they are not telemarketers either.

This should give you all the information you need to send them a certified, return receipt letter telling them to stop calling you and to send you a written copy of their do not call policy they are required to have by law and to furnish upon request by law.  Since they are not actually the charity calling they are required by law to stop calling you when told to do so.  If they fail to stop calling after the letter is received, you can then sue them for at least $500 per call.

Did not answer the call, nor did I get a voicemail.  Called the number back from a burner phone and turns out it was the Republican National Committee trying to raise funds.  They won't take me off their lists no matter how many times I ask.

If this was a Republican National Committee fundraising call, they were trying to reach the person who had this number before I got it.  He was a Republican and a deadbeat, so I also get his collection agency calls.

Caller ID says "unknown name".  Left no message.
