They called me and said I was eligible for grant $, she was obviously foreign and when i asked her where she was calling form she hung up on me! I called back and told her to take her off the list and i was pissed because she hung up on me. then she said "then why are you calling me?" I said "because you called me..." s he hung up on my again! WTF? I work in a legitimate call center (we do survey research for the Illinois Department of Public health) [***] like this is why the people I call for research to improve public health services treat me like [***].

I received a call also stating that I had been randomly selected to receive a government grant, Not falling for that.
Something should be done to stop this scum, I am posting number to my facebook friends to be aware of this.

They left a message about receiving grant money and wanted me to reply.

A woman named Sandy left a message on my voice mail about getting a grant from the American government in a "F the man" kind of way, so in called her back, got her voicemail and told her I'd looked up the number and it was known scam.... And in true American fashion, told her I'd call the police if she ever called again and then sue her for fraud. Funny, for someone so adamant that I get this grant, she hasn't called back.

Its a scam, of course he didn't!

i received a call  from  washington D.C.  federal gov. this is a free federal grant for $6, 700.00 no pay back it's mine to use. have to go to walmark  get money and send to them. i said i do not understand what you are talking about send me mail i can read  and under stand. they hung up . came to the cp to  report the call

I just got the same call. And I hear ya about the LEGITIMATE call center. That is exactly what I do. These people need to get jobs and work for  a living just like we do.

They called me and left message but never called them back because I knew nobody from a British accent would work for our government.

They were a bit believable at first since I just got 7 thousand garnish for injured spouse.. but pre recorded call us back on this # was questionable, it covers them legally sinceYOU CALL THEM  back makes it INCOMING. but the british accent was questionable...I played along since I am a phone support specialist...the deposit part is where it cracked...

I got a call from this number and they left a message about a grant.  I did some checking around and found out it was a scam.  Some people have nothing better to do than to come up with this crap and there are some people that fall for this.
I never answer a call unless I know that person who is calling

Yup, [***] just tried me with it, I thought it was something to do with school. I don't answer phone calls, of those in which I do not know, so while just checking my voicemail there it was, a brief summary of the $700.00 that I have "won" in grant money and a phone number to call them back on. And how this is a "Federal Grant".  Scammin' ass people.. LOL

My phone won't even call them. I must have blocked it because it keeps going to my voicemail.  However, I did get this type of call from Florida.  I told them take the fee out of the grant and of course you can't send that amount anyway I found out through Western Union or Money Pak.

Received a call from 305-517-7317. A voicemail was left that stated I was to receive 6700.00 from the Federal Govt. and to call the office of John Watson at 202-657-4059. Heads up.....this is a scam!

Received a message from this number telling me I had been randomly selected to receive $6700 in government grant $  Of course I  didn't call back so I don't know the details of how this was supposed to happen.
