Same thing here.  I think it is about time for us all to band together and demand that our representatives pass a law and put a halt to this type of calling.  These calls have to come thru a phone company we are using even though they originate from overseas.

Received a recorded call that IRS was filing a suit against me and telling me to call 202 684 6530.  Didn't call back.

Received a call today, June 2, 2015 @ 11:50 am from phone number 202-684-6530 providing a recorded messages stating it was the IRS and I was being sued and to call the number provided immediately.  I did not call the number.

I was about to give him my credit card number but decided to fart into the phone instead.

Recieved call from 202-684-6530.  He spoke with my wife, and convinced her she'd go to jail if she didn't provide  a credit card number immediately.  Fortunately she called me first.  After calling him back from a VOIP line, he informed me he was indeed the IRS.  After I asked him if he was really with the IRS,  He informed me he was "****"ing my wife, and hung up.  Classy, real classy.

We received this same msg stating the IRS was sueing us and no that's not true as we don't owe LOL.... Said to call 202-684-6530 to review case.

A recorded message on my cell phone. I rarely use my cell phone so obviously a robo call.  A recorded voice: The IRS is filing lawsuit against you." To get more information on this case file, please call immediately call this number.

I received an automated message from 800-684-6530 stating that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call that number, for more information.  When I called the number a Middle-Eastern or Indian sounding guy answered simply saying,"Hello."  When I asked who this was, he said nothing.  Then, I said, "Is this the IRS, and he answered "Yes."  At this point, I hung up knowing that the IRS would not answer a call, without identifying themselves as such.  Presumably, I was about to get scammed!  This guy needs to be caught.

This could be fun!
Next time I will answer, "but I AM the IRS!"
Or, "911, What is your emergency?"
Or, "OK! The check is in the mail!"
Or, "liar, liar, pants on fire"

and why are these well know scam numbers not being shut doen or arrested

The caller said they were the IRS and that this was my last warning before they filed a lawsuit.

Second robocall call from the Infernal Revenue Simulator. Hope nobody falls for this scam, but I guess they must, since they keep trying. Very trying.

The phone woke me at 7:15AM. It was a recording saying that the "IRS" was suing me and I should call this number. I have received this type of call before from similar numbers - 15 in Dec 2014 alone. I always report them to the  Do Not Call Registry, knowing full well that they won't be caught, but ever hopeful.
