Robo call came to my Voip, which I don't use and keep the ringer turned off, left a partial message on voicemail about a case file and to call 202-684-6530. Twice in one day.
Ridiculous.

Received a call from an "Unknown Caller 000-000-000" showed up on caller ID.  Message was left saying I was being sued by the IRS and to call 202-684-6530.  Knew it was a scam, reported to state police but did not call.  I worry about the older folks like my mom who just may call back and give credit card information or bank info.  These people (and I use that term loosely) should be thrown in jail forever!  This is such a scam!!  The IRS doesn't do this kind of BS!

Same experience.  Left message saying they were IRS and filing suit.  Called back and Indian man wanted to get belligerent saying he was sending law over to arrest me today.  Wanted the number that was called and sure he would have gotten to the money but I ended the call there.  There is just so much pure evil in some people.

IRS said there was a law suite against me and I should call this number right away.  This was a recorded message.  I tried  to look this phone #202-684-6530 up and all I found out that it was in the Washington area.  SCAM, SCAM!!!!  There was a news article on ABC a few months ago telling people not to fall for this kind of scam.. First of all the IRS will NEVER call anyone.  They will send a letter not a recorded phone message.   Please do not call this  number.

Same voice message about being sued by IRS.  Can't someone block calls to the US if this call is from out of the country.  If this is illegal, why doesn't someone investigate this scan?  Can something be done?  I was sure "unknown" caller was a hoax as I get call from Indians regarding problems they have identified with my computer.

Too funny!  I have been getting these bogus calls from the "IRS" off & on for over a year now.  They call me on our landline which we NEVER use.  So...for fun I called them back!

Phone rings...I hear someone mumble something...
Me: Hello?  Hellllloooo?
Indian fellow from the "IRS":  Hello...this is Susan Smith.
Me:  I'm sorry I didn't hear you...who is this?
Indian fellow:  This is Susan Smith. (That is MY name!!!)
Me:  No REALLY...who is this?
Indian fellow: I am really Susan Smith.
Me: Interesting!  OK...I'll play along.
Indian fellow:  What is your name?
Me:  Well...you seem to have all the answers...you tell me!
Indian fellow:  Well...oh I see your name is Susan Smith too. (With the dawning realization that he has completely screwed up!)
Me:  Yeah!  You see?  You stupid idiot, you F'ed up & I caught you with your pants down!  F You Stupid!

That was too funny!  He was not a very bright one!  But I had fun with it!

Just got the call and I was told that I would be arrested if I didn't send the $3,000 and change. I laughed at the guy and hung up. He called back stating that he was IRS and the police were on their way.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Beware! A total scam! Caller ID says: UNKNOWN CALLER & no phone # is listed. Automated voicemail says it is IRS & they are suing us & to call them back. IRS DOES NOT MAKE PHONECALL NOTIFICATIONS!!!! This is 4th IRS scam call, all calls are a little different from each other. These scammers have made millions of dollars from unsuspecting victims!

Same story as others...IRS calling to say they are suing me. Received the call in Lansing MI.

Caller said I needed to call this number immediately.

I've also been receiving these threatening calls to call the IRS at 202-684-6530 as they are suing me.  I just hang up.  The IRS doesn't make these calls.

I call them back and order a large pepperoni pizza
