I have been receiving threatening calls from this number who reports to be "officer mark wood" from the Internal Revenue Service. Obvious scam.

Just received a message from this number.  Same story...call this number because you will be arrested for tax evasion and go to jail if you don't call back.

I just received a call from a Mark Wood advising me that I'm evading my tax responsibilities and was subject to arrest.

Same thing here. They are scammers from India using Magic Jack with a DC area code

Said he was IRS and to Call Mark Woods otherwise I would be arrested in 32 hours!  Middle Eastern accent.
Hang up on this guy.  Its a scam.

  Male with very heavy accent saying he was from the IRS and they wanted me for tax evasion.  Accent was so heavy he was hard to understand.  Wanted me to call back at this number.  Typical phone scam.  Best advice is to not answer, then they don't know if your number is valid.

Mark called from the fake IRS claiming that I was going to be arrested and I should call back. I called back several times but he wouldent answer. Heavy accent...

Same thing, IRS scam.  Wife was concerned when I got home and played me the message on the machine.  Listened for ten seconds and deleted it.  Obvious criminal scam.

I believe I was scammed

They will say if you don't pay they will have you arrested. And if you don't believe them call the cops. Which makes them sound ok.

Mark Woods is at it again----Officer Mark Woods from IRS, I shoudl say.  If I did not provide information to pay $3,000+ in 90 minutes a Sherriff would be dispersed to my job to arrest me and will have to serve 3 years in prison for de-frauding the IRS. Heavy accent, hard to understand.  I asked him how I could pay it and he said go to Dollar Store, Winn Dixie or Walmart...that was a big que.  I also googled the number and saw these comments.  I am on hold with IRS to report.

IRS related and I have no issues with IRS.

Same number.  I needed to have fun today so I called back.  First guy hung up on me because I wouldn't give him my life's history.  Second guy told me there was a warrant out for my arrest for tax evasion.  I told him I have family that works for the IRS so I know this is not true (I actually do!) and I have family that works in the secret service and if they call me again THEY will be arrested (Not true!).  I know, I know, just hang up!  But I had my fun! :)

Just got a call says its IRS. I committed fraud. I didn't answer so it sounded automated. I literally had a heart attack.

Got a call to the effect that this is my final notice from the irs and I should call back this number for more specific info
