Unfortunately, the FBI, FTC, FCC etc, do not have the manpower or funds to dedicate to tracking down all of these scammers.  As soon as one boiler room is shut down - whether overseas, or in the US - another one opens up.  That's why it's so important to educate family members and friends about these calls.

Got the similar call today, he gave the same name Ryan Jackson,, had a thick Indian accent. He told my husband that he would send somebody right away to arrest me.

I also called the local non emergency police dept, they said they get these reports all the time.

I got a call from this number 2027548075 and said something about a warrant and he is a federal officer.  Called back, it went to a  voice mail box that was full and could not take any messages.  He had a very thick accent and spoke slow like he was mentally ill.  Name was Brain Aderson.

Exact same call. Brian Anderson and Brad were the fake names used. Once a lady also called. They said there are 3 legal issues against me and said I should pay $3011 right away or there will be a legal procedure against me and my husband.

I got a call too and I suspected called from India too based on ascent.
With help of some of my Indian collegues, I learnt some vulgar words and repeated to that guy till he hung up.

I said matherchod ([***]), Gaandu , Bhoosdi ke and he hung up.

Received a threatening call from the above number and with the name Kevin Wilson. He told us that he is from IRS and FBI and we owe taxes. He threatened us to pay few thousand dollars and if we don't we will be prosecuted.

Report it to the real IRS..

I got a message from the same number. Though it was obviously a scam I decided to play along and acted very scared and told him I would like to pay the fine. When he asked the credit card number I started with 1-2-3-4-----   and he got very angry and lost completely his fake american accent.

I received a call from Jordan Lopez "Fed Bureau of Crime.  Saying there is a pending investigation against me. If I don;t call
police is going to come and arrest me.

I too received a call from 202-754-8075 by a man caliming to be from fraud department and he then transferred the line to his supervisor who spoke with a thick accent. His superviosr said he was from the FBI Criminal department and that there was an IRS issue and my case was reported to them. He explained 3 different isues and aske dhow would you like to pay ? After questioning him he asked "are you ready to go to jail?". I said please go ahead.

Got a call yesterday from 202-754-8075 saying I was to turn myself in to the closest police station because I was involved in a federal case. I called back and there was no response and voice mailbox is full. Thick accent, spoke slowly and identified himself as Officer Jordan Lopez I was very concerned.

I just received the same call that stated i was part of an FBI investigation named used was brian anderson.

I got a voice message on my home phone almost similar to the above. I called to see what it is. Person with thick accent and somewhat broken English answered and asked me to send money. I still have the Recorded message. Big scam!

this is a scam.... don't listen to this person.... it is a scam, I tell you
