Received call 1/21/2015, they left no message so I never picked it up.

D.C. Number. Anyone calling from D.C. Must be a scam. Also calls from 202-796-8920.

Was called by this number at least three or four times a day for at least a month.  Finally got a call early in the morning before I had my glasses on and answered.  Voice message said that the IRS was taking a case against us and hung up.  Of course it is a scam.  

This bunch of you-know-whats has been calling my number every bloody night for a good month. I can't believe there aren't more complaints. My caller ID says "Tea Party" and the number. I did some research and am told the Tea Party DOES NOT solicit donations by phone. Last night I answered when the call came and told the guy off, including the info from Tea Party. I called him several not so nice names and told him to enjoy paying the fine when the FTC rattles their cage. This is the second time I told them to GO AWAY, I DO NOT give out personal info or financial info, certainly not CC numbers, over the phone. He asked me to "repeat that". I did the whole routine again and before I was through he had hung up
No foreign accent to this yoyo; he's gotta be a "stateside scammer" . I hope everyone out there reads this and stays away from these creeps. .

Got a call from this number.  Caller ID just said "Washington D.C."
They didn't leave a voice mail, so F em.

Calls minimum of 15 times daily. Various similar numbers.After each Tea Party id then a series of unavailable for a few hours.

This is the widespread IRS scam. Ignore all future calls from this number.

This number 202-796-8850 has called before.  They called again today and I did not answer.  Have had calls from someone pretending to be the IRS saying I owe money and to do blah, blah, blah, blah, or else.  I hung up.  Do not know if the IRS claws the same as this number, but from reading the comments above, must be one in the same.

I have been getting calls from this number, and one similar (different last 4) for more than a week now. Shows up as "Anonymous" on my CID. I never answer, and they never leave a message. The call woke me up this morning. Not happy!

Caller ID says Anonymous.  Seriously...why would anyone answer a call that comes in as anonymous.  I also get the Tea Party calls using the same number but they come up on caller ID as Tea Party-202-796-8850 so they are using the same number with two different id's.  I am ready to get rid of the land line.

Calls at least twice daily, very annoying.

comes in our work lines as just the number 202-796-8850, being a business I have to answer my bosses' line.  There were people laughing in the backround, I told them my boss was not in, and they said they would call back, would not give me any more information.
