They call me every day, leaving a message saying I am being investigated for pending allegations against me and said it's my responsibility to call this number back, (but called from a different number) and confirm my address and place of employment. Stupid scam!

automated message saying something about a process server and if I didn't call this number today they were going to serve me with papers.

Received today. Pending legal action. Blah blah, sounds official. Tried a few months back. Didn't respond. Nothing happened. No letter to prove what they are saying. If it's real they'll send an official person to deliver paperwork to you.

The same thing happened to me but they called my mom and dad’s number as well. Ridiculous!

Looks like a scammer who somehow got ahold of my number while job searching/resume reviewing.

This number called my Mother of all people regarding an investigation of me on her cell.  The caller gave Case# 125219.   I Googled the number and could not get any solid information so  I called them back from a landline and the Lady spoke very good English and stated the company name was Credit Mutual Group.  I hung up and Googled them but cannot find any info.  I text my Mom to let her know it's a SCAM!

Asking for unknown  and unintelligible  person. Threatening to investigate and contact employer and threatening to take someone to court.

I got the same call and they are calling our entire family looking for someone, but they never provide with a reason why.  Does anyone else have a follow up?

Calling different number all week i got pending allegation file court number no company name no name anyone to call back threats

Just got the call now and they said the pending allegations with no reason to what their about and said failure to call back I will have a open investigation within my county. With my name and reference number both said by machine. If legal actions are pending and i need to call to 202-800-5518

I just received that exact call!!! i have been for a few weeks now

I called them and the lady just responded as legal department and then asked me if my social security was correct and said it was in reference to a loan and she wouldn't give me a physical address because she said they have several locations and gave me a PO Box address instead.   She said the agent handling my case is in court, but refused to give me the agents name.   As soon as I told her I was calling my lawyer and the call was being recorded she hung up.  Was extremely rude from the time I made the call til she hung up.  She claimed their company was Kempner & Associates.

Left message about several pending allegations. Stated they will verify my current address and place of employment. If I don’t comply, they will contact my local county office. Left phone # 202-800-5518 with case# 125102. Call came in from 314-526-3308 (Kirkwood,MO). Have been calling me for about four days asking for a female with my same last name.
