Recording of someone posing as a helpful agent interested in helping me to get my student loans forgiven. Claims to be Joe Campbell, Director of Federal Student Loan Forgiveness program and he's following up on a form that I supposedly partially filled out. Makes it sound like he's responding to me personally, but I haven't had student debt since 1997. It's a scam. They want me to give them my SSN so that they can look up my info and help me. Right, I'm so sure. I recorded the call.

Got a recording when calling back, (two min. later) Student Loan Co. send mail first, with contact person. Never heard of call first!

Joe Campbell who claims he is the director of student loan forgiveness program keeps calling my phone numerous times daily call back and when you call back they hang up on you and then the next time we call that they wouldn’t answer the phone

Exactly the same as those noted previously. Joe Campbell director of student loan forgiveness program-again. Comes up on cell as 'scam likely'. Call back so we can get paper work straightened out. Told them never been to college so how can I have a student loan and they hung up on me. How rude of them LMAO. Hard to owe if never gone. LOL I'm on the do not call list.

Same caller making same claim. Urgency to voice and claim. That if I don't do this then Trump and Besty Devos (Head of Fed. Ed. Depart) will.... not clear what he said about this. The claims seemed like pressure sales, and yet also vaguely believable. Glad I didn't call back and or engage with this guy.

Gentleman left voice mail identifying himself as Joe Campbell, Director of Federal Student Loan Forgiveness and said I had tried to reach out to them (I didn't) and to call him back before Trump and DeVos change things. The missed call number was 714-752-3628 which was different than the call back number he left.

Student loan debt forgiveness with the long spiel about Trump and Betsy DrVoss etc. There’s a message on this site from Antonio...exact same script. I’m 66, pancreatic cancer, VA loan 40 years ago so I know it’s a scam.

I've been getting this call from Joe Campbell for months. Isn't there a way to investigate this fraudulent act and put a stop to it?

Same as others. Joe Campbell, blah blah. Thing is, I'm in my 60s, and never had student loans. I think they are after my son, who does have student loans. He's been out of school for probably 10 years. Somehow, though, they got MY cell phone number, and, of course, I would never give them my son's. This is about the 10th call I've had from them. Once I called back to tell them they had the wrong number and to stop calling and before I got past "you have the wrong person" they hung up. I haven't tried back. I just keep blocking their number each time they call, and then the next call is from a new number. Sigh.
