My wife and I got the call on the same day. We both go thru Sprint. Thats nice to know company's say your info is private yet its not.

I live in Los Angeles, just received the call but couldn't answer because I was on a call at work. Caller ID said District of Columbia. Same as you guys, called back and it said # is no longer in service. Of course it isn't in service because it is a scam of some sort and they don't want for you to reach them, only they can reach you....or so they think.

I received a call from this number, 202-827-9981, at 1:20 PM EST on 12/8/2011.  I answered but there was nobody on the line.  I am a Sprint customer in the DC Metro area.

In AZ too, got the call, it's in Spanish.  I hear enough of it standing in line at the grocery store let alone some stoooopid unknown call.

I'm from Chicago and I also got a call from this number. It's a lady speaking in Spanish. After 19 seconds, message ends.

Some recording babbling at me in Spanish. No option to eprimo numero uno por Ingles.

came up as a Washington DC number and when i tried to call it back it came up as an error code... i too have metropcs

I received the call from this number today as well.  If I may make a suggestion to some of the more frusterated people.  Just press ignore when it calls, divert the call to voicemail, or request from your carrier that they block this number from reaching you.

It is the technology era folks, just because you have a cell phone and only give the number to select people.  It does not mean your number will remain unknown to scammers and such.  There are only so many number combinations for a 10 digit phone number, yours will be guessed at sometime.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number at 12:48 pm, CST. As soon as I answered it, a recording came speaking spanish. I did not listen to see what the call was about, nor did I attempt to speak directly to anyone. I simply hung up my phone in the midst of the recording since I do not speak spanish!

I'm also a Sprint customer. I have a Chicago phone number on my cell phone (which is where I got the call from the 202 number...). I wonder if Sprint plans to charge us for those spurious calls?

OMG I got a call too and instead of pressing #1 like the nice spanish man said I pressed #2 and now I'm being anally probed by masked aliens in the Flamingo island at the LA Zoo. Don't press #2!!!

just got a call from this number and didnt answer. tried to call back and it was unavailable. went online to do a reverse check and no info. now i see this post. who is this calling all of us and why???
