They got me too just now.  Strange to find so many others who have gotten the same call.

Some kind of weird call, VERY annoying.

They just called me. They said it was T-Mobile for an special offer..I Called back and it said the number I was trying to reach was disconnected.

Who is calling from 202-827-9981 to all these people??
Is it a junk call??

I'm on the job hunt so answered call, said "hello" about 3 times, no response.  Thanks for the postings,all!

I'm in Richardson TX and just got a call from this number.  I tried calling it back and got arecording that said it was out of service.  I then got a voice mail notification - when I played it, it was ten seconds of dead air.

They called me about 40 minutes ago. I didn't answer, since I didn't recognize the number. I read what everyone was saying on here, so I called it back 2 times and both times all I got was a busy signal. I live in southern Illinois and I have a Virgin Mobile prepaid phone (uses Sprint service). Kind of disappointed since I'm looking for a job and I enter a lot of (legitimate) contests....I thought it might be good news. :-(

Got two calls from this number: Jan 9 and Jan 6 ? Live in N.CA

I got  a call from this # too its said i won something from tmobile and to press one to claim this one time gift and then the line went dead

has anyone registe to taco bell ipad contest ? i did that today i all the sudden i get this call wierd but it was in spanish saying i won something but its saying from tmobile mmmmmm weird

Per everyone else's reports, I, too, called the
number back, nobody answers. Anybody who knows why and who is calling?

got a call from this number, i did not answer, no message. then i came here. good thing i screen calls.

to be honest sounds like our phones have been tagged but idk the calls came from d.c

I just got a call from that number and picked up. It sounded like a recorded message in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish.

I just got that call today also . I didn't pick up , but since I have this location thing on my phone it showed " District Of Colombia " . So I decided to google that number .

And i live in LA . Should I be worried ? I have tmobile .

Who are these people?? No one ever answer when you answer the phone.  What do you do to stop them from bugging the phone.  They call my house and cell phone everyday.  Please help.  I live in CA.

Well i'm from Canada and I received a call from this number a couple days ago!  Didn't answer though...
