I was expecting a call from someone.  So when the phone rang, I answered without paying close attention to the number.  The man told me there was a problem with my IP address and hackers are using that to steal my information.  He asked if I was near my computer.  I wish I had thought of a clever answer (like the toaster guy).  Instead I just said, I don't have time for this.  He replied: Why? Is there a problem?  Grrrr...

I didn't catch the guy's name, but he did tell me he was with a company called Global Tech Solutions.

The only thing I ever do is to tell them to hang on just a sec, and by the time I do go back, they have hung up. Guess it's something I did, or did not say, ha!

Same exact thing. My computer line was in trouble after I told them i do not have Microsoft. Called back immediately

Guy calls with an Indian or Pakistani Accent and told me he was getting an error code on my computer. I told him to help me with the code and I would get my credit card info. The guy was getting so excited and I was going to give him the numbers and then asked how come the number he is calling from is not showing Microsoft ? I messed with his head

Michael call indicating that there was a problem with my internet connection. I asked him to hold on I wanted to google his phone number. he did and I read to him what I found, he hung up

Got a call from "Harry' from the "Windows Technical Department".  Told him I didn't own a Windows computer and wished him good luck with his scamming.

Noticed I received 2 calls at 3:21pm on 1/29/18. l don't pick up if unfamiliar. Figured they would leave voicemail if really want me. No message left.  Went to block number and found out I previously blocked it.

Thanks, guys. This number called my 86 year old dad, but he won't answer unknowns. Blocked.

A robocall from Michael that claims to be from Microsoft - A computer Tech Scam - A search shows this number to be from Washington, DC. They keep calling using a different new number after being told to remove my number from their call list and blocked.

Missed call, I don’t answer any calls I’m not familiar with.    Getting tired of the nuisance.

Michael from "Cyber Security" called.  He said my computer was compromised by a foreign entity.  I asked where his company was located.  He said Austin, TX and I asked why he was using a DC phone number.  Silence...then he said that I needed help with my computer.  I asked to speak to his CEO.  More silence.  He said that he couldn't reach him.  I asked for the CEO's name.  He said Tom Cooper.  I said hang on, I'll look the company and Mr. Cooper up.  He hung up.  SCAM!

That was classic, lol. I got a call like that a couple of months ago, and told him to hold on, then I took my son's whistle and blew it in his ear......never heard from them until today.

Call from area code 202 was blocked because we block all Washington DC calls.
