- Deb| 5 repliesReceived vaguely worded threatening SMS (text) message 1 FEB 2022 at 1842 (UTC) from this number. No idea what they are on about since being flagged "Suspected spam" by my service provider also truncated said message. No idea who they are because they failed to mention that, preferring instead to lead with the aforementioned threat. Number likely "spoofed" by the usual gaggle of international scammers, as legitimate debt collectors and businesses tend to lead off with who they are and reason for contacting me.

"TALIS TUNTER! This is our final attempt to contact you in regards to your case in our offices. further action will be taken if payment is not made. If you've already made payment please allow our system up to 48 hours to process. The phone number to contact us is 833-734-2758. Thank you, M.A.C."
I am not Talis Tunter. Because there is no Talis Tunter. 833-734-2758 is said to belong to someone in Fair Oaks, CA, near Sacramento, CA. There's no public registry of that number.

Marie Antoinette told the army to let the starving masses eat cake, but she got the final bite.
Patriot Americans--good to the bone people--are starving for the return of the respect of our country, our freedom and our flag, vilified by the Deep Left. Patriot Americans demand the release of our patriots and the return of our simple loving freedom and genuine care for each American citizen for which my father and my husband and his father and father before him going back all the way to the Civil War and now son in the Pentagon, fought and died to protect not only here, but each and every living woman, man, child and all over the world--even the lives of the rotten, evil to the core people in DC--Supreme Court to Bama's weaponized Unjustice Department, Fauci's NIAID which cooked Gain of Our Function Covid with Gates, Google, Soros, Bama, CCP and released it to "reduce the world population by half and 'control the rest'" who indirectly vilified prescribers of therapeutics like HCQ, IVM, and pulled curative Monocloncal Antibodies off the shelves to the known results--all paid for by taxpayers, giving vaccine-makers billions upon billions of free money to watch their intentional Capital Murder One.

- Danielle replies to mgmg| 1 replyI have been getting harassed by these people for weeks! They wanted my card info to pay off a so called payday loan I owed from 2015. After looking up their company I found that they are a scam. They call themselves MAC mediation account services. They are a complete scam!!! Beware! They call from different numbers in all different states. I reported them to the FTC. I even told them I did this and to stop calling me but they won’t stop. They are scum!

Mark Daniels from MAC
Website says that they are in Florida: https://mediationac.org/
The address is a virtual office, favorite of criminal organizations pretending to be debt collectors.
BBB gives them an F rating with 116 complaints and 14 negative reviews as of 2/4/2022: https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/pembroke-pines/prof ... r-0633-90432086
BBB also lists a residential address for them: 9751 SW 12th St Pembroke Pines, FL 33025-3654 Which is registered to Thu & Tham Nguyen and may be a rental.
https://www.google.com/maps/place/9751+SW+12t ... 4!4d-80.2748821
The Florida Dept. of State has no registration on file for either a corporation or a fictitious name. This means that they are operating illegally.
The Florida Dept. of Financial Regulation has nothing on record for the business name or the name listed on the BBB as the manager. This means that they are again operating illegally.
It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified. If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.
First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file complaints with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

Also file a complaint with the Florida AG’s Office: http://myfloridalegal.com/
And the Florida Dept. of Financial Regulation: https://www.flofr.com/sitePages/FileAComplaint.htm - Mrs. DeeJaY+1 202-990-1565 called threatening to move forward with further action if I don't call them back immediately. Last attempt!!!

- Audrey| 2 repliesMark Daniels of Meditation Account Center is a fake name/person used by scammers. They use the same generic "payday loan from 2014/2015" script for all of their intended victims. I have been dealing with them for the last 2.5yrs. I have filed reports each time. They refused to stop calling, leaving threatening messages, even told me I had a court date "in my county"(literally what they said). These are professional scammers who are banking on people who are too busy and unaware that just pay up. Well...I'm not the one to try and scam. I even changed my number, not sure how they got the new one because now they're texting me. These scammers usually start hard calling around IRS tax return time. Coincidence? Maybe but i dont believe in coincidences.
The federal government has changed the rules a bit, on how these debt collectors can contact you and knowing these rules will help weed out the scammers.
Right now, there are a few key rules a debt collector must follow if they’re contacting you to try to get you to pay a past-due debt:
* They can only contact you between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. local time.
* They can’t contact you at work if you ask them not to do so.
* They can’t harass or threaten you, or tell your friends and family about your debt.
* They can’t contact you if you’ve asked them in writing to stop.
The update to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is lengthy, but here are the most notable changes.
Phone Calls
The new rule specifies that third-party debt collectors can call you once daily, but if they actually speak to you, they cannot call again for at least seven days. In addition, you can ask them to stop calling you and they must comply. Currently, there’s no limit on how often a debt collector can call you, and you can only request they stop calling you by sending a letter.
Text Messages and Emails
A third-party debt collector is permitted to send you electronic messages including texts and emails. Each of these messages must include instructions for a consumer to opt out of receiving those types of messages. Messages must be sent at a reasonable time similar to the 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. limitation for phone calls.
Emails Sent to a Work Address
In most cases, debt collectors are prohibited from sending messages to an email address they know is used for business.
Social Media Messages
A debt collector can send you private messages, but not post anything that your followers, friends or the public could view. Again, there must be an opt-out instruction attached to each message.
The text messages that are coming from M.A.C. do NOT follow the FDCPA and are thus illegal. Be sure to save all text messages and voice-mail messages as proof. Also, ask them in writing to stop contacting you, send the letter certified return receipt mail. Send a response text that asks them to stop all contact with you. They MUST comply. If they refuse to comply, they are scammers.
Best wishes to you all.- Caller: Mediation Account Center

- DeeExactly the same message. Stated that they have made several attempts to contact me regarding an outstanding balance. If my account isn't paid in full it will be frozen. Then left a number to call (833-734-2748) if I wish to be not to be contacted. They call and text all day. Its ridiculous how they try to scam and intimidated people.

- Danielle replies to BigAThank you very much for the info. It is much appreciated. I did report them to the FTC already but I will for sure be going down your list and doing more. I still receive texts and calls from them ,I block the numbers every time and they still call or text from different numbers. It’s really aggravating. But thank you so much for your reply to my post.
- JaniGot a text from this number. Says I owe money and to call another number or my account will be frozen. 325 244 1031
- CaitlinGot a text message from this number and they are apparently trying to scam my husband into paying a payday loan from 2015 that he never got or signed for. Every number they given me from the numbers they've contacted me from to the numbers they keep telling me to call are all flagged for fraud and scammers everywhere I've researched them. Kinda funny and stupid though that my iPhone is recognizing one of the numbers as another iPhone though because it just proves they are complete frauds!!

- Debbie replies to DebSame here, I get these texts threatening me that that my accounts will be frozen unless they speak to me today. U have no clue who it is nor do they answer calls.
