Same as all of the other comments. Received a threating text today that it is the final attempt on money owed and I will be referred for legal action. No company name, wasn't even addressed to my name. FRAUD. The number has been blocked 🚫.

They have texted me twice about taking legal action against me. The first text had no information only to call 844-901-1712. The second text gave a little more information. A case # L243718A another number 831-583-8480 and a last name I no longer have. I have reported them to the FTC, but I'm afraid they can't/won't do anything to stop them from texting. I can't keep blocking them because they will just text from a different number. So ANNOYING!

No, the FTC will not act on a single complaint.  Why did you not file reports at the other 4 agencies?  Have you sent them a letter?

I got the same thing. These people are now using texts to try and sway people w their BS because none of us answer phone numbers anymore we don't recognize. Unless you've received any mail correspondence ignore these snakes. They have issues working real jobs so they want to try and scam the working class.

They too have been calling me over and over again. How can we put these people in jail?

I was stupid enough to fall for this. Im elderly and my memory isn't what it used to be. They had a lot of information about me. Including my SSN. Said the matter was already on a court docket and in order for me not going to jail, I had to pay $1,498.32. They said to make payments of $62.43 monthly, to clear up an unpaid cash advance loan. I couldn't remember any loan of that type. But wirh my memory issues, I thought maybe it was possible? My bank immediately flagged it as fraud. I was too embarrassed to report it. After talking 2 payments of $62.43 out of my account, I decided to swallow my pride and report it. The bank said the payments were POS transactions, meaning they were using my debit card and NOT my actual account number. They issued me a new card and refunded me the $124.86 that I had already paid them.
 So this morning I get a text and phone call from them saying the payment was declined and demanding the new debit card number and bank account information.
The 1st text was from Aug. 25th.
The last text was this morning (Oct.5th)

Lesson learned.

These people have been calling my parents house, both of my siblings and myself for the last 2 days now! I have at least 4 different numbers from them. Leaving threatening voicemails on my siblings phones in regards to looking for me. They left a voicemail at my parents house which was also very threatening . They have called me twice but haven’t left voicemails on my phone. Today I received a threatening text from a different number. These ppl are claiming to be MAC.
