This guy keeps asking for Larry.  They are also calling from a Skype or VOIP number +036 or +033.  This is getting really annoying.  These guys don't care about Do No Call lists because they are criminals, not doing anything legitimate anyway.

How do you tell it to his face when it's over the phone? Duh

203-123-1158 is the phony number!! I knew it!!! I've been affiliated with the govt. for decades & there's no way that the U.S. Dept. of Treasury would contact me by CELL PHONE about MONEY!! SCAM!! HOAX!!

Every day they call me

identified himself as John from the United States Dept of Treasury but had a difficult time even saying that through his THICK ACCENT

Received a call from this number.. saying that im one of the lucky person whom theyve been chose to have 9000$ of financial assistance from the government treasury dept..they even gave me a money confirmation number.. lol..they have given me this number for me to follow up on my money 6466669727... fyi to public...

I am also on the DO NOT CALL registry.  I just want to know if any one else here signed up for Woman's Freebies on Facebook.  It seems like these calls started immediately afterward along with a bunch of unwanted scam emails.  And they have never sent me any free stuff.  Dang.  I should no better.

I agree with you totally! Every time you sign up for anything the scammers take over! I have blocked 25 calls recently from all over the place....all with foreign accents and very uneducated! I will have o blaock this number as well!

Called my home phone. Caller id said unavailable name. American name given with india accent.  Said he was with us treasurary and that i had 9k under my phone and name. Asked if he was a scammer to which he replied  yes, so i told him to get off my phone. He got foul mouthed with me and hung up.

I reported them to the FTC as soon as I got off the phone

A man with a foreign accent called me, claiming to work for the government.  The man told me the government had selected my name, along with many others, to receive $7,000 in U.S.A grant money. He knew my name, and was fishing around to get me to confirm my address; which he also had. I hung up the phone on him. This phone number has been calling my phone a lot.

Get multiple calls a day from this number.  Glad I checked here before deciding to answer.  Call block here I come!

They told me I was to receive $9,000 from the treasury. All I had to do was to call a different no. and use an access call. When I asked where she was calling from she said New York City, Treasury Dept. When I couldn't understand her Indian accent I asked to speak to her supervisor and when he came on the phone, I asked where they were located and he said Treasury Dept. Washington DC. I told them I had caught them in a lie and they hung up on me.

I received a call from this number. The lady on the other end said that she was from the United States Dept of Treasury, and that she had monies that belonged to me. She mentioned something about three different ways to get me the money, but I could hardly understand her due to her thick foreign accent. I requested to speak with someone else that might be able to speak clearer English and explain this to me better, and she hung up.
This call was received on my cell phone, and she knew my full name.

I just got a call from 203-123-1158 saying I was picked from the government for a $7,000 grant that I could use any way I wanted and don't have to pay it back. They said I would have to call a number and to get a pen and paper. I told them "No thank you, I know the government does not call people." And they hung up.

they called and claimed to be from the US treasury calling from "Washington state" obvious scam!

they called my husbands phone and said he just won 9,000 $ and all he has to do is call a different number . so I called it and it was a man and he asked for the code so I gave it to him and he started asking for information I  said are you a scammer and he said yes, lol I told him my dad was a cop and hes coming for you and he started laughing and hung up. whata freakkk now he wont stop calling

this number has been harassing me for the last 2 weeks I want it to stop

That is so creepy, with me they just hang up I don't even bother engaging. It's been happening for about a month everyday twice a day it's so annoying. But that is super creepy!!
