"This is a service verification" and then read off some number way too fast to follow and then hung up.

Showed up on ID as Verafast. The message said "This is a service verification, we will call back later".

Got two calls yesterday -- didn't pick up first time, second time I did and got an automated message.  This morning, I got a call, picked it up, but said nothing.  Then a woman came on, and I asked to be taken off the list.  She said we'd get on the do not call list.  We'll see.......

The collect money for third party "collect" calls.  I did not put in my number, for fear it was in reality giving permission.  Instead I went to website attempted to dial main line (closed on the weekends) so I sent an email demanding my number be removed...

This is the LA Times.  When they call from this number they are trying to cold-sell you a newspaper subscription.  I canceled my Sunday subscription months ago but they still call me from this number - 3 times in the past week.

got a call around 9:30 am, did not answer.......no message left!

This outfit calls daily using many different phone numbers.  It is always a robo messagge stating "this is a service verification and we will call back later".  Have no idea who is calling or what service they are verifying - it would be most respectful if there was identifying information provided.  I do not and will not answer a call from this scammer.  Caller ID reveals various identifications such as"  Ver A Fast, Verification FR, VERAFAST - bottom line they are harassing me.

Teltrust is NOT the owner of the 7000 block.  The actual owner of 206-395-7xxx is 360 Networks and can be contacted at 206-239-4360.  I spoke with their customer service and they said that the 7180 number is being used by one of their "clients."  Said she opened a ticket to investigate the abuse.

I got a call and was informed it was the Minneapolis Star Tribune

I get calls from this number at least three times daily.  No message.  I will not pick up.  How do I get them to stop calling?

I actually talked to a live man who stated that my newspaper subscription would be increased from 1 day to the whole week for the same price.  ...Duh....then I didn't even get my paper on Sunday.  Sounds like a scam according to the other writers.

I live in Canada. I have received at least 10 calls from this number.

I would like them to stop calling. How can I do that?

I've been getting calls from this number for past week.  Never answered, but called back and it says to hit 1 if you want your name taken off of their list.  I just hung up!  Today, I had 2 other strange numbers on my  phone, and when I called back they say they are not in service.  I called verizon today, and had them finally blocked from my phone.  We'll see what happens!

The number 206-395-7180 for Verafast calls everyday, at least once, since last week. When I answer there is either no response or a short recorded message. It is annoying and a misuse of our home phone. We would like them to take us OFF their list. Since last week we are getting calls from 701-661-1061 for Customer Service. No one responds when we answer. Since it started as the same time as Verafast I suspect they are related.

Verafast, Ver A Fast Corp, Verification FR all calling from different phone numbers since Jan 6th.  Robo message always states : Service Verification we will call back later.  I will NEVER answer a call from an unknown number, name which is the reason why I pay to have caller ID.  They call daily, sometimes twice in a day, may skip a day and then start calling again.

TRIBUNE NEWSPAPER SYNDICATION --drummnig up business for your local paper  that they may own. Don't answer or block the call.

206.395.7180 continues to call and leave the robo message stating this is a service verification and we will call back later AND they continue to call often using different phone numbers and the same caller ID.  At this point they have been calling my number since Jan 6, 2011 often twice a day.  I think we all are at the end of our rope with this harassment and if we were to actually answer and talk to a real person we would not be polite.  

How do we get this outfit to STOP calling?  If this is actually the Mpls Star Tribune which I subscribed to beginning Jan 2, 2011 then they should be held liable for passing along my phone number.

Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I guess the National DO NOT CALL list doesn't do what it is suppose to.

Rodnil, that is very interesting you say that about the MPLS Star tribune. I used my cell phone number for them. I guess I will question them. I have not used my cell on anything else, but the tribune.  Thanks for the heads up, from now on I will use 000-000-0000
