lady pretending to be from Amazon account services giving a cost figure that they said I charged to my Amazon account and to call them back if I did not charge this figure to my account.

lady called prentending to be from Amazon saying a charge was made to our visa card.she told us to call the phone number mentioned above if we didnt make the charges.This is a SCAM!!!!

ALSO: __BEFORE anything, checked inside AMAZON acct, and found "NO orders pending"

Automated voice left a message stating there's a charge on my VISA and and to call this number if I didnt authorize it. Amazon account has no pending orders and bank statement shows no charges. Nice try!!!

Called Amazon auto call back. Their phone id started with 206.. Chatted with them, they looked at my orders and such, found nothing. They sent me an email.

Although some departments at Amazon.com make outbound calls to customers, we'll never call you asking that you disclose or verify your Amazon.com password, credit card, or banking account number. Such information should only be submitted when completing an order on Amazon.com, registering to sell on Amazon, contacting Amazon.com directly, or when making updates to Your Account or Seller Account areas.

Just got a call from a lady at this number asking me to call Amazon fraud alert if I did not make a purchase today. This number is not associated with Amazon and its a scam. I reported the call and the number to Amazon's fraud department shortly after.

Scam, same as above mentioned,  received @ 1800 hours, 9/24/19 in VT.  Reported to Amazon Fraud Dept. Have received same message in email several times this week also.

I also received a voicemail message from a female caller advising the same thing above.  I checked my Amazon account and no orders placed.  Contacted Amazon who advised not to make a return call to the 206-401-1780 as it is a scam.

Really stupid scam caller.....they also claimed to be Amazon and wanted all the information on a purchase....they finally hung up once I informed them I was with the Fraud Department of my local police department....

Exact same as all of the above.  They picked the wrong person to use this scam on, I am a Prime seller on Amazon and I have ordered hundreds of items from Amazon over the years, so I'm smarter than to think Amazon would ever cal me about an order and a charge to my Visa.  Good luck with this scam-My Call Blocker saw it right away.

I got the same call everyone else did and for the same amount $77.99 on Visa. I called Amazon 888-280-4331 and they told me nothing was pending and there were no orders for that amount.  Same info when I called VISA.  Amazon told me that was not their phone number 206-401-1780.

Called my Mother.  $77.99 on a Visa.  My Mom doesn't even know how to use a computer, let alone know how Amazon works.  SCAM!  It's Colorado sweeps week.

Scam....not Amazon.

Received a call from 206-401-1780 also with alleged $77.99 purchase. I called Amazon and reported fraudulent activity and provided the phone number. Amazon opened up a case on this. Looking at the thread here, surprised this scam is still active utilizing this phone number.

This isn't the only number scammers are spoofing for this scam.
