Just got a call. Left no vm

Just discovered that this is a legit c/s number associated with Microsoft support - my husband initiated a call back from them.

This is one of the many Microsoft Office 365 support out-going trunks. If you get a call from this number, it's likely a customer service agent calling you about an open support incident.

you couldn't possibly have been 100% sure of this since you took the time to look up the number. Or are you one of the scammers doing damage control and trying to make people think that you are working for Microsoft to get access to their computers so that you can steal money and information?

Scam.  And I suspect you're a part of it.

One, this isn't an outgoing number for Microsoft
Two, even if it WAS, they don't cold call

I don't know what the others who posted about this number are talking about, but I requested a support call today from within the Office 365 portal, and this was the number I got a call from.  I Googled the number a few minutes ago trying to determine if it was their primary number, or just one of many numbers so I could decide whether to add it as a contact on my phone so I'd recognize the number next time.  This page was the first hit.  Shame that the "Call type" choices you get to select from when posting here do not include anything like "legitimate business call", so I'll just leave "Unknown" selected.

If that is true, please give us a link to the Microsoft web page that contains that phone number.

In addition, if this IS a legitimate Microsoft phone number, the bad guys can easily spoof what you see on your Caller ID.

I work for an MSP and initiated a ticket with Microsoft 365 through our partner portal. About 30 minutes later I got a call from this number with the ID being "Clean Harbor" as well. It was the actual Microsoft support callback. Not sure why the ID shows Clean Harbor (maybe a company that used to have the number?) but it was legit. I think they are revamping their support and might be one of the numbers they obtained for it.

Just got a call from this number saying that someone at this number initiated a tech support call for Office 365 support. Although they didn't know what the domain was associated with our O365 account. They had a heavy indian accent. I can't tell if it was a scam because we have lots of people in our company that could of called. Right before I hung up he asked me what my domain was and I told him I wouldn't give it to them.

Definately MS O365 support - called me about a case I raised yesterday.  No I'm not doing damage control.  No I'm not a spammer.

I believe this is a scam, they called me today saying someone from my number initiated the call. I was traveling and going through the airport, I didn't even have MS Office on the devices I was carrying and I was on vacation. I can assure you I didn't initiate a claim.

This is Microsoft 365, I called them earlier today and didn't answer this number (hence why I'm looking it up) because I didn't recognize it.

Scammers are spoofing this number.

It's Office 365 support.
We are a charity and i used the o365 portal to request a call back in regards to directory sync and our adfs server was the number that was on our callerID.

MS 365 follow up call after initial purchase.
