Got a call this morning at 10:06am.  Caller offers "rebates" off your utilities and wants to verify your info/mailing address - will send you $300 worth of paying off your bills.  DON'T TALK TO THEM.  I'm pretty sure these guys record you talking and doctor the sound bytes to say you ordered or agreed to pay for something something you didn't.  They also called me yesterday from 206-445-6065 - twice.  No one was on the line after 1 ring.

Biz Team I qualify for rebates on my telephone bills and they are going to send me some information on tech support.  Told them not interested and hung up.

Hi, this is Reuben calling from BizTeam with a brief call to let you know...that's as far as he got before I slammed the phone down on him.

Started off by saying they were recording our conversation and wanted to send rebates for our phone bill. The man I was speaking with said "I have my supervisor on the other line to confirm your address" (I was at work when this happened)and then a woman asked me for my LAST name, when I refused they said they needed it unless I was authorized to make purchasing decisions for the company, I said I wasn't and they said they would call back another time.
I should just hang up on anyone who starts a conversation with "this is being recorded". Glad I found this website!  :-)

Same system: mentioned a rebate on phone bill, transferred to another person after 'verification'.  Mentioned they would send information aftr confirming business address; I told them I had no interest whatsoever in their offering for services, which was not the original "bait".  He said that no info would be forthcoming and he was sorry we couldn't reach any agreement for their "services".  Needless to say, I will check my phone bill and any other business bills quite closely!  I also plan to notify my local BBB.

Caller wanted to verify my address to send me rebates for my phone bill.
I asked him who he was. He said he was with Biz team. I asked him if he was with AT&T. He said no but wanted to send me rebates anyways, just wanted to verify my address. I told him i was not interested. He continued to talk. I just hung up on his ass! I hope he calls again so I can curse him out!

Ditto...Biz team; phone rebates.  Also get one on occasion transferred from San Antonio office about energy rebates.

Arnold with Biz Team called to briefly verify my information for rebates with technical support. He handed  the phone to Chris to get my information. I told him that I was not the person he wanted to talk to and he said that he would call back. Looked up the number and glad I did!

Got a call from them this morning.  I just told them I was on the Do Not Call Registry.  I was told that I had to call individual companies if I did not want any calls.  Apparently they have no idea what the Do Not Call Registry is all about.  While I was trying to tell her she was trying to talk over me.  I ended up just hanging up on her.  I have never done business with them.  They have called many times, when nobody was at home and never left a message.  But I recognized the name and number from my caller ID.

Had same experience where they call and ask me questions so they can send me these magical rebates. When I said I wasn't authorized, they hung up, CALLED ME BACK and the woman who sounded like she smoked 10 packs of butts a day asked for me by name and said "you're stupid, stupid, STUPID!"

I am a manager in a store. Someone called me from the bizteam and told me that I am eligible for a $300 rebate. Then he transfered to someone else. The voice was not clear and I was not concentrating. He asked me my last name and I gave him. He was speaking so fast, I could't understand what he was saying. I am afraid now what happens next. Do any of you have any idea that I can get out from this trouble.

I am an H&R Block employee and this company just called my office claiming to offer rebates on utilities for $ 300. The sales person was speaking EXTREMELY fast and I asked him to slow down. He did, and then I heard him indicated that there was a fee of $ 49.95!!! BE AWARE

File a complaint with the better business bureau (bbb.org). I also founf their website which is mybizteamonline.com

I get these calls ALL the time at work.  This number called me today.  They gave me the same speil about sending rebates for AT&T.  If you give them your name and tell them you are authorized to make purchasing decisions, you will find a $50 charge on your next phone bill.  I have even told them specifically that I'm NOT paying for anything and they say they "totally understand" and "are not selling anything", but I still found a charge on my phone bill.  If anyone claiming to represent AT&T, White Pages, Yellow Pages, etc. calls to verify your address, HANG UP!  

Technically (I guess) it's legal...but it shouldn't be...it screams SCAM!!

I got the same shtick, I answered the phone, they rambeled on at super sonic speed, said "i have a manager here to talk about your rebates...." no manager there so she asked about the weather until the manager picked up... manager picked up and called me jack about 10 times before asking for my last name, I said "I don't feel it relevant to give that information out to an undisclosed source whom called my shop." she said "well we need a last name to let (my company) know who we spoke to" so I couldn't resist but say "if you are calling me asking for my info, why would you have to call my company to tell them it was me you spoke to instead of calling them directly and getting the info from them?" she then asked for a manager to which I defiantley qualify as and said "well if you're going to be this difficult I don't think we'll be able to do buissiness with you then" she started to say something else before I hung up but it turned to gibberish when I pulled the handset away

Continuing to receive calls from the above number.  No one speaks, and when answered, the connection is promptly disconnected by caller

There are several programs all with the same price, and the company is hurting right now. As consumers you can deal this crappy company a death blow by complaining to the attorney general of florida

That information under my last post is the contact info of the guy who is high up in the company that harrasses all your businesses and is responsible for hitting as many phones bills as possible. do with the information what you will, go crazy in fact. Note the part about "Verifying Sales With Integrity". They laid off people and took Christmas bonuses from whoever was left and train you to be able to get people who just work there to say they are authorized and charge your account $49.95. I RECEIVED THE CALL AND SAYING I AM ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVED $300.00 AND WHEN I TOLD THEM  NO AND THEY HANG UP PHONE

Received a call from Biz Team 206-445-6014.  Said they had discounts for me; Called me my by my first name, before I could say a word the lady that first called stopped talking and a man started.  I finally had to hang up.  They don't even ask if I am busy.
