I don't answer ANY calls that aren't identified.  "out of area", "unavailable", etc are unacceptable.  My caller I'd speaks the name, so I never answer these or similar calls.

THIS caller called my cell & home phones back-to-back.

Keeping a file of all these.  So far, I've got almost 70 spam calls this month.  At the end of month, I plan to send this list to the FCC.

The opt out option does not work, they will only keep calling. Several times a day, almost every day. They didn't stop when I threatened to report them to the police for harassment. They called 4 times the next day.

Received numerous calls from 206-445-6113 over the past month or so. Caller ID is "Unknown." Most of them were hang ups. Of the two who answered I spoke with the second representative. After prompting, she finally told me she worked for "Utilities Discount Center, Philadelphia, PA." I asked her to explain the nature of her business and she told me that they find the best deal of the electric utility discounts for my needs. She wanted to ensure I was not receiving any welfare or utility support from public funds. She asked me to get my utility bills. I asked her to please give me a number where she could be contacted when I gathered the required documentation. She would/could not give me a call back number, stating that they could only call out. I told her that I would feel much more comfortable providing personal information to someone I called. In addition I shared my concern that the calls are coming to my cell phone which I never give out to anyone other than those from whom I wish to receive calls. She could not tell me how they got my cell number and why, even though I had put my number into their do not call registry several times going back at least a month, they continue to call my cell phone three and four times per day. I told her it is for these reasons that I would not do business with them. She assured me that she removed my number from their file. I have not had a call from them in two days. I'd like to add that the jerks who use this form for their own amazement, political or otherwise, are not in the least appreciated.

Actually, you're wrong. It DOES use minutes even if you don't answer. It uses 1 minute. I'm looking at a cell phone bill now and it logged 1 minute for the call.  Given the fact that we're only about 20min over our plan limit, this call (and others) ABSOLUTELY had an impact.

To all the people posting before me - you are a bunch of dopes - but what else would I expect from you after reading those unnecessary political comments - grow up! Your stupid remarks help to divide us.

STOP PICKING UP THE CALLS - thats how you can get them to stop. Forget about contacting the "do not call" list. They will sell your number to list companies, adding to your unwanted calls. All of you are so wrapped up in having to keep your phones attached to your ears 24/7 that you can't just let them ring and not pick them up. Believe me, you aren't going to miss out on anything if you don't pick up a call.

Just got the call - left recording "to discount your electric/gas bill" ... don't they get it, that after all this harassment even if I maybe interested in options, I ABSOLUTELY will have nothing to do with them!!!! It is incredibly annoying as I work from home and every time the phone rings it's interrupts my work! Its just so many of them and they change the phone # constantly I can't keep up with blocking them!!!! Ugggggg
